Hey! Today's theme is song! Which I was super excited about, because well I LOVE music! Music and nails make up my every nights plans. I will do my nails and listen to music everyday and it's just great. I have no clue what I would do with out music. However, this theme was a bit tricky. I listen to SOO many artists and all different types of music yet I was completely drawing a blank when it came to a song on my nails. I considered doing something for my favorite song, maybe lyrics, but I know I can't do words so my mum helped me with some ideas! She ended up suggesting "Downtown" the new Macklemore and Ryan Lewis song. I wasn't really sure how to do the song as a mani. She suggested literally doing our downtown sky line. So I did.
I did not do my beautiful city justice at all, but you can pick out some of the major recognizable buildings. Such as the Wells Fargo Building (the one with orange squiggles) Then I tried to capture the Jacksonville Landing, which didn't really work. It's what is on my pointer finger. Then I also tried to get the blue Main Street bridge in it but it kind of just looks like a blob. Yet I pulled it off more that I thought I could! ;D
So it's my "Downtown"! :) The song is really fun, as is Jacksonvilles downtown area. I feel so lucky to live in such a beautiful city!
So what do you all think of these nails? I am going to just go with they are ok! I feel like hopefully one day I can redo them and do them with more details!
