1 Year Blog Anniversary + Defy & Inspire Nail Lacquer

Hello!! So I am back with blog post 2 of today! I am literally just so excited for this post and I'm not really 100% sure why. Today marks my blog being opened for 1 year which is just amazing! I absolutely love running my blog and so much has happened since I opened it! I have gotten to work with so many amazing people and do some unimaginable things! I really want to thank each and everyone of you for reading my blog, or even just looking at the pictures! I really appreciate it and I absolutely love reading comments and interacting with you guys on here and Instagram, Twitter, and so on. Each and every like, comment has gotten me here and I appreciate it all. You guys just keep encouraging me to do new things and keep on improving. Thank you so much! You are all amazing! <3

Today for you I am super excited to be introducing a new brand to you! Plus I am just super excited about this color so let's get to today long, lengthy, and photo filled post!

Today I have a brand new Defy & Inspire color! If you haven't heard yet Target is releasing there very own polish called Defy & Inspire. Its 5 free, made in the USA and it's supposed to have a good wear life. The bottle shape is different it's like a curvy square! I am really liking it. :) On the back it says.... "Beauty is Our Responsibility. Defy the Ordinary. Inspire the Extraordinary." Which I think is a nice and fun quote to base a polish off of!

This is 2 coats of Bachelorette and I am in love with this pink! It's formula is really nice in my opinion so far. It's slightly thick and the brush is pretty big so you get slog of coverage. I feel like now that I know how it applies I may be able to get full coverage with one coat. When I try and new polish I first try to start out putting it on thin so I can see what the polish is like. :)

Something that I am really liking about these new Target  polishes are the names! Most all of them have names related to TV shows! Most of them that were catching my eye were the ones named after the Bachelor & Bachelorette hence the name of this one Bachelorette. ;) Polish names are so much fun and this one if for sure one of the fun ones! I saw one called Final Rose Ceremony, Right Reasons, and one that I am wanting next Paradise Island. There are more than that I just can't remember them all. These polishes are out now! Not all Target have them yet but with in the next week or so the should have them. I went to 2 different Targets to find them. :)

Now in honor of this being the 1 year anniversary of my blog I decided to do a Cheetah Print Mani. Not necessarily what one would expect, but when I started nail art Cheetah print was the one think I (thought) I could do. So I thought it would be fun to look back on my first Cheetah Print mani I posted on Instagram 174 weeks ago!

Just goes to show we all start somewhere! At first I was like ekkk do I really want use that on my blog, but then I realized how much growth it shows! We all start somewhere. We are not instantly good at everything at least I'm not. Now would it be nice to be instantly good yes, but practice and dedication help you improve and I feel like this is a big example. If you are ever wanting to try nail art but you are afraid, start with cheetah print, it's fun to do and one of the easier designs to start with, plus when you pull it off it's very satisfying. Just don't get discouraged just keep trying. :) I know it's hard to do, but it's something we need to do. We need to believe in ourselves. The other night when I did Frosty, which you saw earlier today, I didn't not like him. I was really bummed out with how he turned out but the next morning I was looking at him and he was growing on me. Then we were out and about and a few people we ran into saw them and thought they were good, as my mum had told me. I was just being to hard on myself. We are all our own worst critics sadly. I really want to try and stop that. It was really funny actually. I decided I would post a picture of Frosty on my Facebook and when I did so it actually picked up Frostys face and asked for me to tag it with who it was. I think that made me realize well if a computer is picking it up as a face it must not be that bad!

So moral of that story is, keep trying and don't be to hard on yourself! :) Now anyone interested in a Tutorial?!

Hope you guys enjoyed that! It's a longer one just because I got carried away talking, which is odd because when I do the voice overs I feel so stange!

This is for sure one of my best Cheetah Print manis in my opinion.

That's finally it for this post! I hope you all have loved this post, enjoyed this mani, and now are excited about this new Target polish! Once again I want to thank you all for your support on my blog for this past year! You are all so amazing!

Thank You!
