Takko Lacquer: Guava

Press Sample

Hey y'all! Happy Tuesday, hope your week is going well so far. :) So today I have a pretty full post for you! There is a swatch of a new Takko, plus art using Vino Vinyls, and then a tutorial on how to do it! So let's get into it. ;)

First off here we have 2 coats of Guava. It's a lovely bright orange pastel! I am typically not a Orange person but I love this so much! It just look nice on and the formula was nice and easy to work with. I really just love it.

I will have to say my camera doesn't like it. It was/is very hard to capture the true color. I may try and put a video of it on Snap Chat today in all types of lighting depending on our weather. We are supposed to get storms but who knows.

Ah, it really is a lovely color!

Now here is the video for today's nail art. I'm not sure what is up with the coloring in the video, but when I uploaded the video to YouTube last night the colors went all wonky. The cover photo of the video is actually the same as the cover photo for this post so you can definitely see a difference. The vinyl is a new one from Vino Vinyls and ah, I love this vinyl. It's such a fun tribal like design and it was super easy to use. A bit hard to line up perfectly on every nail but it still looks good. :) Also in the video I mention the INM Correcting pen that I used for clean up, and I really just want to say I love that thing! It's so easy to use and works really well! It even comes with 3 backup tips so I'm just really loving it! It's so handy for quick little clean ups and getting really close to the cuticle.

The black I sponged on is Takko Lacquer Iconoclastic which I reviewed a few days and love! If you missed that one you can see it here. Then on top of that is another new Takko Lacquer topper that I still yet have to review but so far I love it! It is called 18K White Gold LE with real white gold dust in it.

Well I hope you've enjoyed today's post! I know it was a full post but it was a fun one to put together! For any of you who are in New York y'all are going to get a chance to get these before anyone else because, Sheryl will be set up at the Renegade Craft Fair in Brooklyn May 20th - 22nd. Now if you are not in that area you will be able to get them online! :) All USA shoppers can pick these up on May 27th at 8:30 PM EST. :) This time the release is going to be a bit different so hopefully everyone can get what they want! Here is what Sheryl has said about the release! :)

We are going to do a 1 hr Pre-order instead for May 27th at 8:30 PM ET (NYC time)
That means you will have an hour to order what you want from the collection 💕 We will then launch the collection for those who weren't able to order during the preorder. We will also have a restock with our stockist after.

Now to keep up with all things Takko Lacquer check them out here....
