Basket Weave Nails

Hey y'all! Hope you are having a nice day so far. So today I just wanted to play and try something a bit new so I tired out a bit of a basket weave design.

They look like oh that would be easy but I will have to say they take a lot of though and planning. Every easy to make a mistake while thinking you're doing it right! I know I goofed up a bit. Hopefully with some practice I can get it down to a point where maybe j could film it but at the moment I don't think I would be able too!

Now polish details! For the main color I used China Glaze Too Yacht To Handle the the silver is OPI Silver Canvas. I actually tried sponging it on this time to see if it would make a difference in the appearance, ya know just an attempt at those chrome nails! Haha!! Then the last nail started with a black base which is Takko Lacquer Iconoclastic, with Takko Lacquer Dances With Unicorns. The art was done with acrylic paint and the smallest brush in the Winstonia Berry Wine set.

So what do y'all think of these nails?! I like how they have a summer vibe yet neutral because of the black and silver. :)

Decided to play around with some things used in the mani and took a pic! :) I love little pics like this! What about you? Should I try and take more? Hope y'all have a lovely rest of your day and thank you so much for stopping by the blog! :)

Happy Painting!
