Sammy Dress Rainy Day Outfit

Press Sample

Hey y'all! I am back today with and outfit and a brush review along with nails! So a very full post with a lot of info!

First up I have a cute rainy fall day outfit with a top from Sammy Dress. I don't know about you but when it's fall my go to is leggings and an oversized sweater or sweatshirt for those gray days. I have one shirt that I love to wear which is one of those that is half one color and half another and the sleeves seem are far down on the arm and most often they have a name of a place across the back! I love that style, it's so comfy and I love wearing things with names of my city too so it works out well! This top is similar in the style department so I thought it would be fun to try! I really love the fabric, it's super soft and comfy. I did notice online it appeared much more mint green, yet when it arrived it was much more green green. I'm still ok with it just wasn't what I was expecting. It's sizes range from S-L. I would say it runs on the smaller size. I ordered it as a L because I like these shirts on the larger size but it's not L it's actually more form fitting. It still looks nice it's just not that oversize L I was expecting. Overall I like the shirt and it's perfect for a rainy day leggings and boots kinda day, you just have to know its not going to be the oversized shirt you would expect! If you want to grab one of these y'all can right here

Next up I also received a 21 piece brush set from the beauty section on Sammy Dress. There is a big variety of brush types here and it's neat because are actually even dual sided.

The ones pictures are the dual sided ones. Now as for quality of the brushes. They work but I will have to say they aren't my personal preference. They are a bit to "hard" for my liking and when trying to use them I don't feel like they pick up much so you have a lot more work to do which takes up more time. I am used to softer brushes with more brissels so these aren't right for me. Now I haven't used all 21, just the eyelid ones so I know those aren't for me. The fine looking ones  feel more like a paint brush then a makeup brush, so I think the biggest flaw I found with these is they are just a bit hard. If you are wanting to start testing out makeup and are more of the one shadow user and don't want to spend much on a brush this could be a good fit and you can get them here  but if you are one who likes to blend and use multiple shadows and such I wouldn't suggest these.

Since this post had some brush info I thought it would be fun to include them on my nails!

I went for a fun makeup theme! Makeup brushes, mascara, lipstick and OPI polish! :) I also tried to do it with a watercolor look because lately, thanks to Pinterest, I've been obsessed with watercolor beauty/fashion prints! They are just so fun! Now for my white base I used Sheryl' Lacquer Lillie.

Well that's it for today! I hope y'all enjoyed this post! It was fun to put together! To keep up with Sammy Dress be sure to check out the links below....
