Digital Dozen | Decades Theme Day 3

Hey there guys! How are we all doing on this Wednesday? Hopefully you are all doing well, I can't believe how far we are into 2017! It really just hit me and its kinda crazy right?! Well anywhoooo... 😉 Todays decade mani is kinda fun! So lets get to the big picture shall we!?

Today I went with the Woodstock, hippy, peace vibe with rainbow colors in the holo and a water color background. I was looking up what decade this was technically in and it was quite controversial. Some say 60s because Woodstock was in 69 and others say 70s because that was when the hippy trend really made it into the mainstream fashion. So I guess it just depends on your opinion! 😁 I thought it was a really fun mani to do tho! I just had white nail polish on and then I used watered down acrylics for the rainbow colored stripes in the background. Then in I used Color Club Harp on It as my holo and then out lines those details with black acrylic paint. 😊 Super simple and fun to do actually! It was one of those manis that actually came out like I had hoped with is always nice and rare thing!

Well thats it for today! I hope you all have enjoyed this mani as much as I have! It was super fun to create, I think its my favorite one of the decades week so far, so that is exciting. 😀 Let me know what you thought of these in the comments below, along with any type of post/video requests you may have! Working on getting things planned out for the following January weeks!

Happy Painting!

  1. Groovy! Yah I definitely had my years mixed up with certain looks of mine and thought something from the 50's was from the 20's girl *face palm*

    1. I think that is so easy to do, even more so when we do movies from a certain time but they take place in a complete different time! LOL!!
