3 NYE Nail Art Looks | Using Only Dotting Tools

NYE Nail Art

Hello there everyone! I hope you are all having a fabulous week. Its been nice to have a full week to just enjoy after Christmas. Its all gone by too fast as usual! Isn't that how it always goes! I can't believe that this weekend we change our calendars to 2018! That just seems near impossible, but nope! Its a real thing! That being said today here on my blog and on my Youtube Channel I am showing you 3 different looks perfect for NYE that are done only using a dotting tool! So that being said lets go.

NYE Nail Art

First up is this super easy dotticure. No matter your skill level you can do this! I have faith in you! :) Do you start with your fave black polish on your fave base coat and wait for it to dry. After that you just dot on your silver and gold dots.

Thats literally it. You can use variously sized dotting tools to give some nice variation and thats it! Super simple and it looks really nice. I have done this type of mani for basically every holiday I think so its about time I do it for NYE!

Also this makes a great accent nail! If you don't want to do all of your nails with a design just do this on your ring finger and you are good to go!

Next up takes a bit more of a steady hand. For this look you start with black and then a small nail art dotting tool. You use that and your silver and gold to place  your dots at the top of your nail. Start by putting more of the dots near your cuticle. Once you have done that you just slow make your way down your nail spreading out the dots.

You do that with both colors and thats it! Super easy. Again if you only want it as an accent, go for it!

Also if you have gold and silver acrylic paint I would totally suggest using it for all of these looks. Your dry time is quicker and its easy to work with!

The last mani is a version of quatrefoil. It is much more time consuming than the others but once you get it going its like WOW! It looks so much more complex than it is. Since its slightly tricky you put into words I would highly suggest watching todays Youtube video. (Linked at end of blog post)

I LOVE this look and have just loved the whole method of it since I figured out how to do it! :) Its simple and looks like you used a stamp which is a good thing in my book because I can't catch on to stamps for some reason.

NYE Nail Art

Here I did use it as an accent nail kind of. You could easily make it all of the nails or just carry over one piece onto one of your other nails like I did. :) It turned out really nice and I sure enjoyed it. :) Hope you did too!
