The Base Coat Vinyls

Hello there and welcome back! Today I have some new nails to share and a new video to share! I've really been enjoying making them and I'm hoping you all have enjoyed them too! :) Today both nail art looks feature polishes from Pretty Beautiful Unlimited, and one of them includes a vinyl from The Base Coat.

The Base Coat Vinyls

First up is the art that is in todays video! For this look I used 3 polishes from Pretty Beautiful Unlimited. I will list them below!

White - White Out
Black - Black Out
Sparkle - Its's Leonards Day!
The creme grey is acrylic paint

Geometric Nail Art

For the vinyl nail I applied the white first and let it dry while I did the rest of the nails. Since I knew a vinyl was going on it I wanted it to be able to dry while I was working on other things since vinyls definitely  need a dry base. After the white was dry I quickly used Seche Vite Quick dry top coat and let that work its magic! After that was done I then used the Broken Glass/Mosaic vinyl from the Base Coat and filled it in with the polishes I used plus a grey acrylic paint.

Geometric Nail Art

Here is the video so you can see it done in its entirety. Plus there are some tips on how to take the vinyl off its paper, as well as how to apply your top coat after the vinyl has been removed! I really love how it all came out! What do you think? I feel like it go with so many things!

So I was playing with some of the other polishes from the Thats Still My Spot! Collection and did another nail art look so I thought I would just go ahead and throw it into this post because soon I need to start working on Valentines nails believe it or not!

Jewel Nail Art

As I think ya'll could tell in my last post HERE, "I'm not Crazy, My Mother had Me Tested" was one of my personal faves from the collection. So obviously I wanted to wear it again ASAP! So here it is with a fun jewel/diamond. I told myself a few weeks ago I wanted to try to paint a jewel so I did! I started with the white base. I used White Out again. After that I then took black acrylic paint and painted the outline of the jewel. I started with a very wide V at the bottom. Then finished up the top. Once the shape was establishes I filled it in with the beautiful blue/turquoise. Once that was dry I then did the detail lines inside. :)

Jewel Nail Art

After all of that I just did some small dots radiating out from the jewel. :) It was simple to do actually! I usually see people stamp it so I was afraid it would be hard to freehand, but it wasn't that bad so YAY!

Well guys that is it for today! I hope you have enjoyed these nails and todays video as well! If you have any requests for what you would like to see next please let me know and I'll see what I can do. I have some non nail related post ideas at the moment and I am really wanting to do them. Would you like that? Let me know below please!

Happy Painting!
