New Combos : Essie and Zoya

Hey there everyone hope you are having a nice Sunday morning! It's supposed to be a rainy one for me so I feel like I should be listening to Maroon 5 Sunday Morning! Haha, I mean I could listen to it any time of the week but I feel like today you just have too! So anyway, I got a new to me Essie for Christmas that I had been eyeing for a bit, and I have that to share with you all today! I wore it on my thumb for a bit but now it's finally time to use it for a full look!

So the two colors in this look are Zoya Sailor and Essie On a Silver Platter. I hadn't worn Sailor in awhile and it looked really nice all alone so I went ahead and took a swatch photo!

Sailor is a one coater and is literally just the perfect navy. I know a lot of people like Ryan as well. I have never used it but seeing them next to each other at the store they look the same!

Now we have the complete look once I add Essie On a Silver Platter. On a Silver Platter is a beautiful polish. Solo it takes 3 coats to become opaque. In the above pic I just did 2 on top of the navy. In the bottle it looks like a silver with navy glitters and then navy holo glitters. It's really unique because then when you start to pick up the bottle and move it around you get a gold sheen.

Here I really feel like you can see it! All I did for this look was sponge it on to the tips and used a large dotting tool for the dots. My largest dotter actually just broke a few weeks ago! I had never had that happen before. Very bummed about that, but I had a new one on the way, along with a few other things I am super duper excited about! Well I hope you liked this blog post! I do have a tutorial going up on IG tonight for the gradation nail. It seemed to short to mess with YouTube so be sure to check that out on IG tonight!

Happy Painting!
