First up today is The Last Petal. Its amazing! I am not typically one to like a metallic like polish but this one is such a rich deep color, and the formula is amazing! It applied perfectly in one coat!
This is actually the one that was broke in the first package, and I'm so glad I still got to swatch it because it is really beautiful. Its a berry color I would say, its not really red red, nor is it magenta. So... We will go with "berry". :)
For a simple look I tried to use a X styled vinyl to create a "mixed tape" look even tho it wasn't done with tape. :-\ Tape and I so do not get a long!
The silver is OPI Silver Canvas, and the vinyl is from Twinkled T.
Lastly we have Gaston and on and on. I think this color was the one I was most excited about because I love a good happy blue! This was 2 coats and was great in the application department! :) I only wish is photoed better. Its much prettier in real life! :)
Also just so you know this swatch is pre top coat! So as you can tell its a pretty glossy polish!
Lastly art wise I wanted to do more roses. I used Be our Guest, Plumette with Excitement, and The Last Petal for the flowers. All of which are from this line! I really like how it turned out. However I did notice top coat made the pinks smear a bit in places. I find that typical when using polish for art though.
Overall I am really pleased with this Beauty and the Beast collection. I think Morgan Taylor did a great job of picking out colors for the movie. The movie is releasing the 17th and I believe you can already get the polishes now. Each of these polishes retail at $9. You can find all of the info on them here. Also if you would like to see the other polishes the links are below.
Happy Painting!
