Hey there! Today I am pretty excited because I have a makeup review for you. In August I ordered this palate and I have now been using it for about a month so I thought it was time to share it with you! :) So lets dive in!
Ok this palate is so fun! I have been in such a warm tone shadow phase so when I saw this that had a mix I thought it would be fun to try. Plus I have one other BH Cosmetics Palate which I love so I decided to give this one ago. Below is how they describe the collation on the site!
It's not rocket science: You'll find it easy to create space-age chic looks with our Supernova -- 18 Color Baked Eyeshadow Palette, a companion collection to our Galaxy Chic Baked Eyeshadow Palette. This star-struck selection of super-pigmented, high-shine shades includes moody blues and greens, eye-popping teal and turquoise, plus deep neutrals for definition. The ultra-soft shadows are buildable, blendable and guaranteed to put a sparkle in your eyes. Launch exciting looks from day to night -- the sky is the limit! Its such a fun mix and I love how they all have names! How fun!! Now before having this palate I had the Caryli Bybel palate and LOVE it sooo much so I had high expectations. Now did this one fulfill them? For the most part yes. These aren't nearly as creamy because of them being baked. However they are still super easy to use. I personally love to use them wet. I think they look best that way. You still can use them dry. I love to use the darker ones dry because they still give off a lot, and blend really well dry. As for wear... AHMAZING! Seriously I can put it on super early and it will all last all day, and still look good when it is time to remove.
Here are all dry swatches that I did with my finger. I still have yet to wear all of them but the ones I have used I love. I find myself using Aurora a lot as an overall lid then I love to take Stella into my crease and then a little bit of Neutron on the outer part of my crease and the side of my lid. That has been my go to combo this past week. Then I also love using Libra or Pegasus as my inner corner highlight. Its literally perfect. Also for any of you green eyes gals out there, the greens Capricorn and Lyra are amazing! Overall I have been loving creating different looks with this palate.
Quality of the packaging is really nice and I feel like you get a lot of product which is nice. BH Cosmetics has quickly become one of my fave brands. Plus they have amazing sales, all of the time. When I got mine it was a BOGO so I got myself one and the back up on I gave to my mom who has also been enjoying it. Last week I saw it was on sale for $10 so I mean there is really always a good deal over there. I am pretty excited about the fact there is another palate like this one called Solar Flare and its like this one but all warm and gorgeous! I may have to get it sometime. I saw it at my local Urban Outfitters the other day too and gosh, stunning! Well guys that is it! If you want to check out any BH Cosmetics you can on their site here. Also if you would like more posts like this let me know. Also I know its early but... I am already thinking about Black Friday sales! That being said if you have any particular brands you are wondering about sales for the big day let me know below and I will try to have all of the info for you! :)

That packaging is aces! It’s nice to see dry swatches to show the pigmentation so I thank you for that!
ReplyDeleteIt is nice packaging for sure! It also has/had a sleeve on it that looked the same! Ha, I'm never sure what to do with those!
DeleteNever heard of this palette but for $10, yes! What fun packaging!
ReplyDeleteRight! I think even at its highest price it was $16 but it was a BOGO so really it was 2 for that so pretty decent! Plus if you don't want the extra one it makes for a great gift!
DeleteI would need this palette just for the space nerd I am, lol! BH has great items and sales all the time, and I should pick this up!
ReplyDeleteThey do have amazing sales! I just got the Ulta ad today in the mail and they kinda lead me to believe that they will have BH Cosmetics in stores soon! That would be nice for quick access but we will see if they actually appear! Ha!
DeleteSomehow they remind me of Laura Geller palettes which came out long time ago.
ReplyDeleteThey do have pretty ones! It would be interesting to see if they would be dupes!
DeleteGreat review. This is a non-matte palette I can get behind!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteI know right? I feel like all of mine are similar to this I need to find a few matte ones to use! I love the few matte shades I do have from BH!

BH can be hit or miss but when they hit there's awesomeness involved. I love when they have sales too. Great pix by the way.

I am always so tempted by BH. The quality is great for the price.
ReplyDeleteMe too! My Ulta has 2 palates right now that I don't have and I am tempted, but doing my best to hold off!
