Hello there everyone! I hope you have been having a nice Christmas week + last week of the year. Today I have a fun Paint with Me video up on Youtube showing you how to can get this fun look just in time for New Years Eve festivities.
As we near the end of the year I always want to do the "Best of 2017" but this year I just haven't found the time to put one together. So if I do one it actually might be in January, who knows! Ha, but I think it would be fun. This past year of blogging has been like no other, plus I started to do Youtube more which I love! Seriously I didn't realize how much I enjoyed making videos until this year. That being said I think as we move into 2018 you can expect more videos. As well as more lifestyle like posts. I did some posts this past year that weren't just nails and I had a lot of fun honestly. It gives you guys a look at other things and I feel like it also allows me to have more time for art so I can bring you even better content. Does that makes sense? Ha! Would you like the mix of more things? Makeup, life like things and so on? I asked on Instagram and most seemed to be ok with it. Obviously nails will still always be my main focus and with doing more videos those just take a tad more time!
Well guys, I have rambled on about what to expect in 2018 long enough, I'm guessing you would like nail details! :)
For this look of course I started with my base coat and then moved on to black polish on all nails but on my ring finger. On my ring finger I just applied a gold polish. On my index and pinkie I used a golden glitter topped to create a lil glitter gradient. Its super simple. I used the same method that I did yesterday you can see how to so that here. Then the art was freehanded as you will see in todays video! I used acrylic paint for the art and it was pretty easy. Plus with the base color being black its simple to fix any mistakes. Hehe, there is an example of how to do that in the video too!
Polish wise the black is Zoya Willa. The gold is an older Zoya mini that the name is cut off on so I don't know. Then the glitter is China Glaze Big Hair and Bubbly.
Above is the video! Hope you like it and hopefully seeing this look being done will help you guys see this is actually really doable! Well that is it for today, I will be back later this week with more looks for sure. If you have any suggestions and or things you want to see before NYE let me know. Also I think in the new year I will start a easy/beginner nail art series. If you have any nail art questions comment those below and I will try to go over them in the new series as well! Hope you are all having a wonderful day! Thanks so stopping by!
Happy Painting!
