Hello and welcome back! I'm super excited about todays post because guess what?! Well I mean you already read the title so you know, but.... Today I am sharing the new China Glaze collection which is titled as FW '18, and it consists of 12 really fun polishes so lets check them out!
First up I will be sharing the 6 cremes of the collection because the collection is perfectly divided into 6 cremes and then 6 sparkly ones!
Pleather Weather
2 coat(s)
2 coat(s)
A light grey with a satin finish.
Starting off with Pleather Weather! This is a nice cool toned grey! I quite like it, and was excited to use it. However when I started to use it I realized it was one of those matte formulas. That meant it wasn't as easy to work with as a normal polish but it was better than past matte polishes, but still different. Above is the matte finish although I would almost call it a satin more so.
Then here it is with with a shiny top coat, that I quite liked! I personally like it this way. It did cover really well in the 2 coats you just have to work fast since it is matte.
Throwing Suede

A blush toned white.
This one is a hard one to describe. Its a light almost white but pills more like a blush pink and surprisingly I liked it much more than I expected. It covered really well and had a nice formula.

A dusty fall blue.
So you know when you see a scare crow out for fall decor and they have a blue hat or plaid, well that is what this blue shade looks like to me. This one has such a nice formula, and is so opaque in just one coat, I just did 2 because I wanted that 2 coat feel.
Mustard the Courage
2 coat(s)
2 coat(s)
A mustard yellow creme.
When you think of a fall yellow and this one is just that! I'm not a huge yellow fan as we all know but the formula on this was really nice. It applied really evenly and as you can tell is a good shade for a fall line.
You Don't Know Jacket
2 coat(s)
2 coat(s)
A Royal Navy blue creme.
This is such a nice navy polish. Great formula and easy to work with. All of the polishes in this collection are highly pigmented so that is something you might want to keep in mind when wearing any and all of them. I can't say anything about any staining because I did take preventive steps just in case and had no issues. So if you area worried about it just do a double base coat.
Central Parka
2 coat(s)
2 coat(s)
A mossy green creme, or also referred to as olive green.
OK I really like this one! Mossy green shades in clothing I quite enjoy so why not wear it on my nails too! The formula was great on this one. Almost full coverage on the first coat which is super nice. If you were going to do art on it, I'd just go with once coat and be happy.
Now its time for the sparkly part of the post because I figure most say sparkles are the best so I thought I would save them for last.
Vest Friends

A deep charcoal grey with a hint of a green undertone.
This is a neat shade! Kinda green toned but also not super noticeable. Its just neat for lack of any better words. Formula was excellent and it applied so nicely.
Chic Happens

A silvery metallic that has a slight lavender tone.
Oh what a punny name. This is another neat shade thats kinda hard to describe. Its silvery but with a lavender undertone. It applied really nicely with minimal brush strokes.
Haute Blooded
2 coat(s)
2 coat(s)
A deep red shimmer with a matte finish.
Here is the last matte in the collection! This one dried super fast so you have to also work super fast. It does dry down to a 100% matte finish and it really kinda looks velvety. However in the matte look I feel like the shimmer that we see in the bottle is lost.
So here it is with a shiny top coat! I like it more so this was because the shimmer in the polish is so pretty! the option of it being matte though is really nice.
Aut-umm I Need
2 coat(s)
2 coat(s)
A dark maroon jelly like polish with a golden/orange shimmer.
Ok the name! How fun!! This shade is a really neat one, its kind of a Maroon jelly base and then packed full with shimmers! They kind of go gold/orange, and then even some blue and green that I can't capture on camera.
Swatch Out!

A copper shimmer with silver micro glitters.
Ok this is such a pretty copper ! Plus the formula was/is amazing. Not brush strokes which I kind of feared. It was just such an easy application and its so lovely on. You even get some really small silver micro glitters that really just shine!
Pay it Fashion Forward
2 coat(s)
2 coat(s)
A lovely purple shimmery polish that also has some golden micro glitters that pop in the base as does a blue micro glitter.
Last and definitely not least is this beauty! Look at it, just look at it! This is such a neat polish and so much is going on in it! There is orange popping up in it, and even blue! I love it and feel like its so exciting to see a mainstream brand make this type of polish!
Now next up I have the swatch video! I think seeing these all in action can be quite helpful if you are trying to decide whether or not to get any! :) Also I do have some any nail art coming soon with some of these polishes so keep an eye out! I thought about putting those in this post actually but I decided I would save them since this post is already big enough! :)
Well guys that is it for today! I hope you have enjoyed this massive post, I had fun with it. Plus I actually had a lot of fun when creating these extra graphics for it! This collection is available now at Ulta and Sallys! :) So what did you guys think of this collection? Did you have a favorite? Let me know in the comments!
Happy Painting!
