Hi guys! Welcome back, and to another swatch post! Today I have a first look at Moon Shine Manis new Collection called What Is Your Favorite Color? which was inspired by Monty Python and the Holy Grail. It consists of 6 new polishes and they are releasing this Friday!
A Shubbery
2-3 coats
A dark mossy green jelly with gold to green duochrome shimmer, gold/bronze/silver multichrome flakies, iridescent green/teal micro glitters, evergreen holo, and pink/green/gold chameleon flakies.
How amazing is this green! Its such a nice deep fall/wintery Pine green with just a nice amount of flakies glowing in it as well.
The formula on this one is a bit on the thinner side so depending on how thick or thin you do your coats will be the deciding factor on if you need 2-3 coats. However all coats are really nice and easy.
And There Was Much Rejoicing
2-3 coats
An inky midnight blue with a multichrome shift from red to orange to gold and freckled with teal to blue iridescent micro glitters.
This polish is so neat! It has a multichrome shift as you will see in the above photo and below photos. Plus is has a neat pop of blue micro glitters that just make it super neat.
The formula on this one was very much like the last where your coat total is 2-3 depending on your coat thickness. If I did normal coat I was about 2 coats, but if I was doing super thin coats it would be about 3.
It also looks really neat matte in its shifting phases as well!
Now up close so you can see all of those detail in BOTH shifts!
I Shall Taunt You A Second Time
2 coats
A metallic french rose with red/bronze/copper multichrome flakies, red to gold micro flakies and sparkling purple micro flakies.
I love this magenta pink shade! It might be my favorite in todays post because its bold and the flakies in here are powerful.
The formula was super nice and easy to work with and I love it in 2 coats!
She Turned Me Into A Newt
2 coats
A yellow green mystery, transformed with bronze/gold/indigo shifting shimmer and lime-gold micro flakies.
You guys this polish is SUCH a neat polish. Its green, its gold its got a hint of a blue aka indigo shimmer. Whhhhaaaat! I know it sounds crazy but its so accurate to the polish. Plus it looks really great matte.
The formula was fabulous and applied like a dream in my opinion as you will see in todays video as well.
Supreme Executive Power
2-3 coats
This polish combines gold/green/blue multichrome flakies with gun metal, gold and blue micro flakies, and a beautiful purple to green aurora shimmer.
Ok this Polish is super neat. Its one of those that you could almost use as a topper but really its best built up.
You can really see all if its different elements in the macro shot which is exciting. Also it look really neat matte.
The Knights Who Say "Ni"
2 coats
A soft gray base shimmering with a red to green shift, copper holo, and orange/gold/green chameleon flakies.
This is such a neat charcoal grey with a slight tan tone that comes in from the copper holo and the warm colored flakies.
The flakies are so pretty and really warm up this grey polish and I just love the mixture and it looks so nice! The formula was really great and it applied very evenly and easily. I love the Moon Shine Mani brushes but you already knew that.
Now how about some nail art! I kept it pretty simple with art this Time around because I'm a crazy person and fitting in so Many things in close proximity.
I always enjoy a quick lil stripe mani! Also A Shrubbery Looks so neat matte!
Next up I used I Shall Taunt You a Seconds Time which made for a fun flower base. I know it's not super fall like but oh well! Ha, we have trees right now blooming actually!
This polish looks really nice matte I think!
Then lastly for today I used The Knights who Say "Ni" for a quatrefoil and I like how it came out. All freehanded and it was just fun! It's been a bit since I've done this pattern too!
Well guys, that a wrap so lets talk release details.
So this collection will be releasing on Friday, October 12th at 9am EST on the Moon Shine Mani site which will be below!
The collection will be available for $60 if you want them all, and then individually they will be $11.
Happy Painting!
