Hello there and welcome back! Today I have a fun lil post for you! Moon Shine Mani is getting ready for their monthly nail care release, which usually consists of a new Scent for their Top coat, and a new scent in a Acetone Additive. However this month is different because not only are they releasing those, but they are launch a new product and I already LOVE it! Its a Sugar Scrub and y'all know how I love a good scrub. So lets check it out.
First off lets chat about the sugar scrub. I love to use these in my daily, well nightly nail routine. Especially if I've been swatching a lot but ever for the casual polish wearer this will be great for you. Its super moisturizing and really just makes your nails/cuticles/hands feel amazing. I like to use it with naked nails, but really you can do whatever you please. I usually also use it conjunction as to when I am pushing my cuticles back and rub it in while pushing them back. It's great!
Moon Shine Mani Sugar Scrub is a luscious, moisturizing sugar scrub that will gently exfoliate your hands and leave them incredibly soft. The scrub softens with cocoa and shea butters and an emollient to create the feel of lotion when it comes in contact with water.
This will be $6, and its 2 fl. oz. It should last a good amount of time, because a lil bit goes a long way! :)
This month the premier scent is Honey Gingerbread which is described below!
Honey Gingerbread smells of warm honey cake spiced with soft notes of ginger, clove, cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg and citrus.
I will be the first to say I am not usually a fan of Gingerbread to eat. However the smell of it just smells so Christmasy and I LOVE that about this! Its not too much and I love the citrus touch that I smell when using/on my hands! Its a great combo! This scent will also be available in the Acetone Additive which will be releasing at the same time as this!
Now lets talk top coat! I LOVE a Moon Shine Mani top coat any day, and because of it I have a feeling there is no going back. Its quick drying, has the best brush ever, and it is scented! Like I never thought I would be into a scented top coat, and now I feel odd without it honestly. This months scent is called HOME and the scent description is below!
HOME Let's Go Quick Dry Topcoat smells of warm pumpkin pie.
That description is spot on, so now not only can I have seasonally appropriate art and decor but my nails can smell like fall baked goods! :) This totally smells like a pumpkin baked good. I get the pie for sure, but because I had homemade pumpkin donuts recently to me it smells just like them!
