Hello there and happy Monday! Today is Day one of the December Digital Dozen Week! This weeks theme is accent nails and it happened to overlap perfectly with my Nailmas Day 9 mani today. Yay! So today I am sharing my Nailmas Day 9 mani that I did for Christmas Animals!
When I think of Christmas Animals, I really just think of all cute animals dressed up in cute lil Christmasy Accessories! Ha, but lets be real I've never seen a polar bear OR a penguin with accessories on, a dog though YES! :) Anywhoo today I wanted to create a penguin look because last month I illustrated one on Procreate, and named her Petunia. Why? I don't know, but I was having coffee with my mom and asked her for a name and thats the first one that came to mind so it stuck!
For this look I used Heroine NYC Empower-mint, as my green base. Then for my glittery accent nail I used China Glaze 50 Shimmering Years. For the art I used acrylic paint, and free handed it with my Orly Short Detailer, which if you are shopping for anyone that is into nail art, that brush would be a great gift when its back in stock! :) I use it daily right now!
