Hello there, its been a bit since we've had a full on swatch blog post but today shall change that! Today I am going to be showing you the new Holiday Collection from Orly! 6 new wintery polishes, so lets check them out!
Gilded Glow
3 Coats
Gold/Silver Shimmer.
I love this sort of white gold shimmer! Formula wise this was a bit thin and took a bit to build it up to get full coverage. 3 Coats, but I do think this one may get to only 2 coats over time as its exposed to more air and gets a bit thicker. Other wise this could also be fun to wear as a topper.
Snow Worries
3 Coats
Light Peach/Silver Shimmer.
Ok I am not really getting any peach from this? You? I feel like this is a fun sheer white/silver shimmer in a clear base. This is 3 coats and I can still see through, so I feel like this would be a better topper than a normal polish. Really pretty and wintery though, so it will make for a nice winter topper! I have ideas! Ha!
Ice Breaker
2-3 Coats
Silver Blue Glitter.
Ok, this is pretty! I love the icy minty shade and this covered in about 2 - 3 coats depending on how thick/thin you do your coats. I have worn it 2 times and yeah it varied. Its super pretty though so I'm ok with this! Ha!
Cold Shoulder
2 Coats
Grey/Blue Glitter.
Okayyyy, I am liking this grey with a strong light teal glitter in there! Looks really good in 2 coats I think and I really like like how its different, fun and not like anything I've worn before!
Frost Smitten
2 Coats
Rose Gold Flake Glitter.
My fave of the bunch is this one! It can be a topper in one coat, or full coverage in 2 coats as you see here. This polish is more of a flake glitter and it looks really nice on. I love the rose gold!
Below Zero
2 Coats
Charcoal Black/Navy Shimmer.
Ok, this is a charcoal black that actually pulls a decent amount of blue in it too I think in the shimmer aspect of it! This has/had an excellent formula and covered perfectly in 2 coats!
So what do you think of this overall collection?! I like the color story for sure, I just feel like some are going to be better toppers, than ones that are built up if you know what I mean. Frost Smitten is my favorite, what about you!
