China Glaze White Hot Monochromatic Shades Collection

Hello there and welcome back! Today's all about the new China Glaze White Hot Monochromatic Shades Collection. Also todays blog post is all around going to be a bit different. I'm feeling like its more of a sit down and chat about polishes day so thats what I'm gonna do today. Kinda like an collection blog post I would have done in 2015, so hopefully you like it.

First off, what did you think about this collection when you heard China Glaze was releasing a Monochromatic White Nail Polish collection for summer? At first I was kinda meh about it. China Glaze does excellent summer collections, and I always love/enjoy them so much. So I was a lil bummed, but then I remembered we did just have the Trolls Collection which did feel like a summer collection so then I got excited about the creativity. I started seeing peeks on social media and was intrigued.  So lets see what I thought of them in person and on.

China Glaze HEY, CHARDONNAY, HEY 25 Sweetpeas

First up we have Hey, Chardonnay, Hey. This is a shimmering shade that goes a lot of gold going on. I was happy to see this addition of color in this all white collection. Plus who doesn't like a nice shimmer. This covered in about 2-3 coats which I didn't LOVE but I think it will get better with age. That being said, I am not really sure its a white nail polish I would grab for often because when I wear a white I prefer a creme more often than not.

Here is a pretty decent look at the shimmer in it.

China Glaze OFF-WHITE, ON POINT 25 Sweetpeas

Here is Off White, On Point. This is the milky white in the collection. It has a crelly like formula, and I kinda really liked that this was in the collection. Having a milky white nail polish can be really nice to have around. You can really get creative with it. Layer some glitters, make a "jelly sandwich", do some pond art, and or just use it for special effects in nail art. I surprisingly liked it and will probably keep it within reach all of the time now. I found that if you a FULL coverage off white sorta look you needed about 3 coats. However if you just want a milky white look with the transparency you would want in a "milky" look you can do two coats.

Overall I was surprised how much I liked this one. It was just different, and fun and I am having fun playing with it. I'll try to make some videos on fun ways to use it. :)

China Glaze PEARL TALK 25 Sweetpeas

This is Pearl Talk. I don't often like Pearly polishes yet I will say this looks nice on. However it did take 3 coats + some mindful application to get this sort of cohesive look. I feel like this does have a tendency to show brush strokes so you have to be careful.

All in all for a pearl polish this isn't bad, and if you like a pearl polish this is the first white one I've seen released in a bit so that could be exciting for you! New polish is always fun right?!

China Glaze SAUVIGNON & ON 25 Sweetpeas

This shade is called Sauvignon and On. This is like Hey, Chardonnay, Hey formula and finish wise. Except it has a pink shimmer with a hint of an orange here and there. You can see all of the color a bit better in the next photo.

I didn't love it, I didn't hate it, but there is room to grow. LOL! Seriously though the more I see it the more I start to like it and think of ways to utilize it, think seashells.

China Glaze Summer Moon 25 Sweetpeas

Here is Summer Moon, my fave of the post today. Its a pure white creme polish with a really nice formula. Covers perfectly in 2 coats, and the formula is nice to work with. No major work needed, and I personally love wearing a good white nail polish so this is super fun!

Isn't it pretty?!

China Glaze SPRITZER SISTER 25 Sweetpeas

Lastly we are looking at a topper called Spritzer Sister. Its a scattered iridescent micro glitter topper. I am wearing it on top of Summer Moon and I love this combo. It reminds me of when I was getting into nail polish and having fun picking toppers and mixing them with different colors, and just being a bit creative with how I layer polish. It just felt neat to wear these together for some reason. I thought it gave out a lot of glitter in one this coat, and the distribute nicely with no effort on the users part. All in all I am a fan!

Well guys thats a full look at the China Glaze White Hot Monochromatic Shades Collection. Now that you have heard what I think, what about you? What was your fave, what was your least fave, have any fun ideas of how you would use these? Let me know down below.

These polishes are available now where ever you can find China Glaze online and or in stores. However I would imagine in stores will be a bit slower than normal, and if you can stay in I would and just order any you would like online. :) Polish Pick has them for $3.25 which is a pretty good deal and while I have never ordered from them I know many who have and like them a lot. That being said though keep in mind shipping is slower than normal at the moment.
