Hey there everyone! So today for you I have a first ever look at another brand new Takko Lacquer polish that is releasing next Wednesday, December 9th, at 8PM ET. It's so much fun, and it smells good! Yes you read that right it smells good! ;)
This is 2 coats of a new topper names Ugly Christmas Sweater and there is nothing ugly about this polish! For the base color I used a nice Christmasy green by China Glaze named Holly-day. Then I did the 2 coats of Ugly Christmas Sweater and I LOVE IT!
It's full of fun festive glitters. It has silver and holo micro glitters then my favorite Takko holo shards. Then there a two different sizes of hex glitters that are green, red, and white. They all work so perfectly together.
The formula on this polish was spot on! No glitter fishing, it all came out evenly and wonderful for this type of topper. I did 2 coats just because I wanted a lot of glitter!! Lol!! I don't think I have ever had a polish this festive and I am loving it!
Here are the blurry nails you can see more of the holo glitters showing! I am hoping I will be able to get a video of this in movement in the sunlight, if I do I will share it on Instagram for y'all!
In addition to the lovely festive glitter, this topper has a sweet scent and it's really nice. Not to over powering and it a nice change from your typical nail polish! Even with a top coat the scent stayed so I am super excited about that! ;)
This polish does dry a bit on the full side as most vegan/vitamin e infused polishes do. It's not a complete matte, more like also "satin" but still a bit more shine. I tipped it with a shiny Top Coat and it really brought the glitters even more to life! :)
So what do you all think? I feel like this is the perfect polish for this time of year, and this may just be the one I need to wear on Christmas morning! Hummm! :)
