Takko Lacquer Swatches & Review 4

Press Sample

Hey y'all, I'm back with another swatch! Today is one called Kiss in the Sky by Takko Lacquer. If you are just coming into reading this swatching series here is a bit of info about Takko Lacquer!

Takko Lacquer is a artisan polish made with Earth friendly minerals. Each bottle is hand mixed/poured and made in small batches. The polish is 5 Free and 100% cruelty free! Oh and it is "Born in the USA" ,as the bottle says, and to be more specific right here in Florida!

So let's get to the pictures!

Kiss in the Sky - deep indigo-purple filled with orange color shifting shimmer

This color is a very unique one out of all that I have swatched for Takko Lacquer. I have to be careful explaining it because it is a great polish, but it's just a little different from the rest. The base is a more of a blurple in my opinion. Which to me is neat because I have nothing like that. To achieve the coverage I got in these photos I used 2 coats. Now you know how with nail polish you have cremes, glitters, metallics, shimmers, jellies and so on? Well this one I would say is a cross over of a Creme and a Jelly. Reason being is the base appears almost like a jelly but a bit more "milky". That may sound a bit odd but it's the best way to describe it in my opinion. It for sure can't be used like a jelly, it is it's own polish but when using it you get that feeling of a jelly. Well now that I got that explained, let's talk about the mix of blurple with an orange shimmer! It's so unique and I wasn't sure I would like it on but... I really do! It's a great balance of color and looks great in bright lights!

This polish is really fun to look at in day light! I did take a video of the bottle outside in direct Florida sunshine, and then the polish in my light set up!  The video will be up on Instagram, so be sure to look for it!!

Overall I really like this polish, it's new and unique to my collection! I look forward to wearing it again maybe for a few days and top it with some art!

What do you all think of this polish? I feel like when I was describing the polish I was speaking a different language! So if y'all have any questions just let me know!
