Takko Lacquer Swatches & Review: Part 3

Press Sample

Hey there! So I'm back with yet another swatch from the Takko Lacquer smear line releasing the 18th at 8PM!

Today for y'all I have a unique one for a summer line but I'm loving it! Meet Constellations!

Constellations - a deep blue jelly with actual silver flakies floating thru out

As mentioned in the description above this is a dark jelly! Which most people wouldn't expect in a summer line, but I will have to say I love it in the mix! To me it resembles summer nights! It's a Florida polish, and I can say from living in Florida we do have a lot of clear summer nights where you can see all of the stars. That being said I feel this was a very creative choice for the collection and a great addition! It took about 2-3 coats depending on how thick you layer it on, to get the full potential of the polish. The jelly for this polish was perfect! It gives depth to the glitter which I think made the name so appropriate! Just wonderful, and it has a really nice formula. One thing I have noticed with all my Takkitos is they all dry fairly quick. I feel like we all enjoy a nice quality quick dry! :)

Here is a bit of a closer view! Hopefully you can see the depth in the polish. For me that just makes the name perfect!

Next up I added some art!

With its name being Constellations  and it reminding me of summer nights I had to add a moon, some standout stars, and some tree silhouettes, like I can see out my window at night! The trees are a bit hard to see but if you see black near the tips then that's the tree! Haha!! ;D

Overall I love this color, its very unique to anything I have/have seen in awhile especially for a summer line so I love it!

What did you all think of this beauty? It will be released at 8 PM on June 18th with the rest of the lovely summer line! Stay tuned for more! ;)

Be sure to keep up to date on all things Takko Lacquer....

Happy Painting!
