Hey there guys! Hope you have had a nice week! It seemed to go by WAY to fast for me! Maybe because last weekend was a holiday weekend and we had company! ;) Well today for you I have what I am calling Shooting Star nails using some glittery silver stars from the Born Pretty Store.
First off let's start with the polish! This is 2 coats of Color Club Disco Dress. It's a very easy to work with and you could honestly probably get away with one coat depending on how thick you do your coats. I really like this purple! On it isn't as bright as I was expecting, but it does dry matte like a neon does which I was expecting. The glitter is just a nameless, brand less silver glitter that I got with my nail dryer that I got years ago!
The two stars are new decals I received from the Born Pretty Store. They come on a little square sheet with a good variety of sizes on the sheet. They were easy to remove and add on to nails, and they look really nice. I did find that they are hard to get to lay completely flat on your nail. Also I did add a top coat and it helped a bit but really it's still pretty rough on top so it's probably only a matter of time before they snag on something. Or maybe not who knows! :) They are staying on much better than yesterday's details, so I am really happy about that!
They look nice on this color! I like the contrast for sure!
Last photo for today!
Overall I liked these. The small stars I like best. They tend to stay on and don't curl up which is important to me!
Now if you are interested in these decals/stickers you can find them HERE. One really neat thing about BPS is that they always have free shipping AND for my readers/followers you can use 25SPW10 for 10% off your purchase. So if you are interested in the stickers be sure and check all of that out! :)
Well I hope you all enjoyed this post! These shooting stars are fun to have on and were super simple to do which is nice for you when you need something quick! Let me know what you think of them? :)
Happy Painting!
