Sloth Nail Art

Back for day 2 and I have a sloth!  Lets take a fuller look at them!

Sloth Nail Art

First off I do not know what in the world was up with the lighting in this photo. No matter the angle/lighting my skin came up weird whereas the next photos all match. Ekk, yeah I have no clue. Anywhoooo I started out with the new Pretty Beautiful White Out that was the perfect white base. It was reviewed on my blog yesterday in case you missed it, HERE it is!

All of the art was freehanded and done with acrylic paint! I used various watered down greens to create the background. I was hoping it would make it look like he was in the forest! :) Then I painting on "The Flash" Hehe, anyone who has seen Zootopia will know that was the name of the SUPER slow sloth! Ah, how ironic! Ha!

This look was surprisingly simple, and quick. I think I am finally becoming more confident when it comes to daunting designs. I was pretty happy with this little guy. Also I think the biggest thing to being able to attempt a design like this is to not compare. I know that sounds cliche, but we all have our own styles of painting. That being said we could all paint the same thing but everyones is going to have their own flair. I know this weeks DD manis are going to just wow me and there will be manis I will see and think, ugh why can't I do that! Thats when we just need to remember that we all do have our own flair. All good artists do right? I mean when you can see something and be like "Oh thats a Anna Bond" or "That has to be a Lilly Pulitzer" you just want to create that with your own style so someone will be like "Oh thats a (insert your name here)!". Wow, that got off track! Haha! :) #randomdeepthoughts Anywhoooo, I hope you like these! They were fun to do!

Happy Painting!
