Hey there everyone! Today I have a fun post filled with swatches + a video! First however I have just become obsessed with those youtube videos where they play songs and you are supposed try your hardest to not sing along to! Oh my its so hard, plus its fun to realize how many songs you know, and how many you still can recite all of the lyrics too like you were just jamming out to it yesterday but in reality its been like 10 years. Goodness, SO fun! Currently listening to one of the "early 2000's" ones while I write this!
Now back on topic, here is the video for this post! It goes over each of the polishes, a little clip went missing when editing, but there is still enough for you get the full amount of info you need. :)
Lavender Strokes
1 Coat(s)
A creme purple polish that has a very nice and easy to use formula. Full coverage in one coat.
I was really impressed with this one! It was such a great application and I actually wore in on my right hand for over a week and it wore really well!
Ivory
1-2 Coat(s)
An Ivory shade all the way. They named this one perfectly, and it had a easy to work with formula.
This was full coverage in about 2 coats. Seeing it on their Instagram I was thinking it was going to be a bit more of a bright white but it was more true to the Ivory name.
Heat
2-3 Coat(s)
A thin marigold yellow shade polish, with a much thinner formula than the other polishes.
This was thin but it did level out nicely and build up to full coverage in 2-3 coats depending upon your application. This one did seem to want to stain.
Neon Rebellion
2-3 Coat(s)
A bright green, yet not quite neon as the name implies. It also had a thinner formula.
This one is going to vary a lot based upon how you apply your polish. I think most will get full coverage in 2 coats, but some may take a bit more. Just like the yellow one this one felt like it would stain. After taking it off there was a green tint.
Caribbean Chic
1-2 Coat(s)
A turquoise shade that applies really nicely. 2 coats for full coverage.
This one again has the tendency to be one that can stain. Not a single polish I own in this shade comes off with out staining and just wearing this for a super short amount of time I noticed it seemed to start staining.
Bubble Blue
1- 2Coat(s)
A dust blue that some may consider to be a periwinkle color. In the bottle is does have a faint shimmer but that sheen/shimmer doesn't transfer to the nail.
The formula on this one is really nice. I believe I got it full coverage in one coat after I "knew" the polish. The first time I work with any polish I tend to go thin like most do and that was 2 coats.
Pink Punch
1-2 Coat(s)
A perfect pink. This formula was super nice and easy to work with. I had full coverage in 2 coats almost 1.
I really liked this one just in the fact of it reminds me of one of my first creme polishes that I loved.
Imperial Peal
2-3 Coat(s)
A shifty blue/purple that is a really fun one. It is really thin so it can take you 2-3 coats depending on your white lines!
Also with this one you do have to be careful about brushstrokes.
