Takko Lacquer Late Summer Collection

Hey there everyone! So I am super excited about todays post! Today I am sharing swatches of the new Late Summer Collection by Takko Lacquer! On August 25th at 8pm Takko Lacquer is starting a weekend long preorder and it will go until August 27th at 10 pm EST. So this weekend and into the next week I will be showing you the 2 collections that will be in the preorder. That being said lets get into the pics!

Here is the video for those of you who prefer to see the polishes in action! I did the filming a bit different to help cut down on time so let me know what you think please! :)

Takko Lacquer Limonada

Limonada
2 Coat(s)

Lemon yellow with silver shimmer and green shimmer.

Takko Lacquer Limonada

The formula on this yellow was really nice to work with. It went on smoothly and evenly. Two normal coats went on fabulously, and the shimmer is so slight and picks up in the light.

Takko Lacquer Limonada

I love the name, its perfect for the color and I really do think the yellow is a nice shade. Its a warm buttery yellow which looks nice on. Its so weird how many yellows I have been liking lately! I kinda love this new found love of them.

Takko Lacquer Usagi

Usagi
2 Coat(s)

Baby pink with green to pink shimmer.

Takko Lacquer Usagi

This pink is stunning. It and Limonada have the same type of shimmer and its just such a nice subtle shimmer that looks lovely on. This one showed up nicely on camera too which is super nice!

Takko Lacquer Usagi

The formula on this one was really nice to work with as well. It went on evenly and built up really nicely.

Takko Lacquer South Beach

South Beach
2 Coat(s)

Peachy Coral with blue to pink shimmer.

Takko Lacquer South Beach

South Beach is just gorgeous. Its totally my type of summer color. Its a corally shade with pink/purple/blue shifty shimmer that is just unique. I have never really seen this color combo in a polish and I am loving it!

Takko Lacquer South Beach

I feel like this color will look nice on many skin tones. I think as you scroll through this post you will really see how much colors can change the look of ones skin tone. There is one that you will see that makes me look really pale but then others look normal, and then some tan! LOL!

Takko Lacquer oh love!

Oh Love!
2 Coat(s)

Olive green with magenta to gold shimmer

Takko Lacquer oh love!

So this is like a transitional color. It works as you are going into fall and usually this type of green on my nails doesn't work but I love this! Its unique and the formula was AMAZING! It went on so nicely. I was half way worried about brush strokes but they weren't an issue at all! Its just pretty!

Takko Lacquer oh love!

I really like the shimmer in this one too its not a typical combination but its perfect. Also if you are one who likes to follow the Pantone colors by season you might like to know that this type of green is in the line up!

Takko Lacquer Cosmic Queen

Cosmic Queen
2 Coat(s)

Dark grey with bright pink, green to gold chrome shimmer.

Takko Lacquer Cosmic Queen

Cosmic Queen is so neat. As you can tell from the macro this polish is super shifty. You get a green/gold shimmer at angles and then you get this pink one too. Its just really pretty.

Takko Lacquer Cosmic Queen

The formula on it was super great and easy to work with too! Its just a lovely polish.

Takko Lacquer hey rosé

Hey Rosé
2 Coat(s)

Light dusty coral with rose gold micro flakies.

Takko Lacquer hey rosé

Hey Rosé is a nice peachy shade. I love the rose gold flakies. The formula went on nicely. Its definitely like putting  on a creme polish which y'all know are my weakness.

Takko Lacquer hey rosé

This one is one you have to be a bit careful with when it comes to skin tone. I feel like on me it kinda has a dirty look because I am in like weird pale but a hint of tan at the same time, however if you had a full tan it would pop I think. Or even if you were paler!

Takko Lacquer boys tears

Boys Tears
2 Coat(s)

Dusty Blue with rose gold micro flakies.

Takko Lacquer boys tears

This blue... Ahh its such a nice dusty jean blue. The formula was just like the last one and its nice a like a creme when applying. Plus the rose gold shimmer. Gahh I love rose gold shimmer.

Takko Lacquer boys tears

I definitely see this one carrying over to the fall and winter seasons! Its just a nice really nice blue.

Takko Lacquer 1UP

1UP
1-2 Coat(s)

Apple Green with yellow gold micro flakies.

Takko Lacquer 1UP

This green is so pretty! Its that perfect summer green honestly. Plus the shimmer is so bold and intense. The formula is super nice as well.

Takko Lacquer 1UP

It goes on nice and creme and once you know who the polish flows you can get full coverage in one coat which is super nice.

Takko Lacquer Passion Fruit

Passion Fruit
2 Coat(s)

Red/purple with yellow gold micro flakies.

Takko Lacquer Passion Fruit

Passion Fruit is a one of a kind in this collection. Its actually a jelly base which is why you get red/gold shimmers showing up and thats also why the macro looks a bit more pink. However on the nail it is like a marsala/eggplant color and its lovely.

Takko Lacquer Passion Fruit

2 coats gave me full coverage even with it being a jelly base, plus the shimmer are all even when applying so you get a great look with the gold + jelly combo.

Takko Lacquer Preorder

As I said already on August 25th at 8pm Takko Lacquer is starting a weekend long preorder and it will go until August 27th at 10 pm EST. You will find all of the polishes HERE when it is time! In the photo above you can see ALL of the polishes that will be in the preorder. The 3 that you see that weren't in this post are ones in another collection called Metallics as Poetry and those swatches + video will be up on Monday morning at 7am so stay tuned. I hope you have enjoyed this post, comment below with your favorite ones, and I will see y'all back here on Monday!
