Starbucks Inspired | Christmas Cacti

Hello there! So I know on the weekends I usually post a video but this weekend is a bit different. This week in general has been filled with videos so I thought it would be fun to take a step back and just do a fun Christmas mani, so that is exactly what I am doing! Today its all about a fun Christmas mani inspired by Starbuck!

Its no secret that Starbucks always has the cutest cups around this time of year. Actually scratch that, ALL YEAR! Right now they have the cutes hot drink tumblr that is red and has cacti's decorated for Christmas on them. Seriously its so cute, however I couldn't find a good picture online to share with you. They actually aren't selling them online anymore soooo.... Anywhoo that was the inspiration for this mani.

I started by using Ming from the Zoya's Party Girls collection that I reviewed HERE, as my base color. After that I then started the art by painting on the shape of the various plants + pots in white acrylic paint. This helped create a way for me to apply the other colors on top of red and it actually show up.

After that bit was done I went in with green acrylic paint and did the plant area. Some of them had multiple greens and different lines or dots done on them to help give them a more textured look. Following that I then went in with the pot details.  After that part was done I then strung the lights and outlined the pots + plant stand. ;) After that it was light time! I just used the rainbow basically. It was such a fun look to create + even more fun to wear!
