Hello and welcome back! I am so excited about this post! There is SOO much in it and I'm just excited to share it with you finally. Quick over view is this post will contain two new nail art looks both inspired by Greece, and then also a brand new video with step by steps on how to create one of the looks! Who is excited?! Lets go!

Greece Nail Art

First up we have a look that literally has a Greece landscape on it. :) I was searching pinterest and looking at all of their pretty white buildings popping on the bright blue sky and water, then with the bold pink flowers and I just had to figure out how to put just that on my nail!

So after seeing pictures like this, and this the mani above is what I came up with! I started with a very pale blue back ground. Then I started to paint the building shape on in white. After that came the land and the water in the background. Following that I used Londontown, Amalfi Love, as the color of the dome and the lil windows. Then I used some light grey to give the building a bit more detail + shape. I always hav issues when it comes to trying to layer things to make it look cool but this time I think the grey really did help. Next up and lastly for that nail was the floral bit. I used 2 shades of green and then two pinks. The pinks were actually Summer Fling and Guilty Pleasure by Londontown.

Then I used all 3 new pinks form the Vacay Mode collection in a gradation. Then Amalfi Love as the blue accent nail to just tie it all together. You can check out their review HERE, and see then live HERE.

They could be better of course but I am pretty happy with them. I was so close to not doing them in all honesty. I wasn't feeling that confident and thought they would fail and just be a blobby mess. However I think you can tell whats going on in the mani which is exciting!

Next up is this Greece inspired look. This one is more of an abstract take that was really fun, which is why I filmed it too. So here is my train of thought for this look. The flowers really just stood out to me in all of the photos I was looking at so I wanted to do something more with them. I was thinking ok, just have them falling from the cuticle, but at the same time I wanted something more.

So I grabbed a white, and pink and started. The blue addition was inspired more from experience. There is a place called Tarpon Springs in Florida and having spent a fair amount of evenings in that area going to the greek shops, and restaurant you notice all of the blue details. Cobalt blue to be exact. Which is what made me think to add in the blue details.

Now for how it all came together you will have to check out the video below! It was really fun to create. I feel like this Vacay Mode Londontown Lakur collection is so happy and pairs perfectly with pretty destinations. Its coming out in February so keep that in mind.

There is the video! I hope you all have enjoyed this post as much as I have. I had so much fun create all of it. There was just something so inspiring about these colors together that made it extra fun. What do you think? Which look was your favorite? Are you now wanting some hummus and homemade pita, or maybe skordalia? Ooooo, those both sound SOO good, and then I'll need gum for days! Hehehe! Well I am off to work on something else neat that is coming soon, hope you are having a great day!

Happy Painting!
