Planner Look + Matching Nails

Happy Planner

Good Morning! Hope you are having a good day! How was Day 1 of 2018 for you? I did start it with a nice work out so that was really great! Hoping I can keep that going even as things get busy! So today I have a mash up post, with it being a New Year it also means its new planner time. I got one for Christmas that I am living because its so seasonal so I thought I would show you a peek at my first spread of the year, plus I did nails to match so you are going to see it all!

Hello Nail Art

First up nails! This weeks planner theme is very gold, black, and mint so of course my nails must match because I am LOVING this color combo. I love it so much as I was doing it I was just thinking, why have I not done this before.... For my nails I wanted to bring in various different elements of the spread which is why there is glitter, little doodles and a fun balance of colors.

Here is a look at the first page and a lil bit of the other! I used mainly one sticker book. All of the "shaped" stickers and word stickers are from a new sticker book by Agenda 52 that I got for Christmas. Turns out Agenda 52 is a Hobby Lobby brand and is meant for Agenda 52 planner but at the same time I am using then I'm using them in my Happy Planner and its working just fine. I'm super excited about the book too! It has a page or more for each Holiday and they are so chic and fun!

Hello Nail Art

A closer look at the mani! I really actually like this. I'm trying to make it a goal to mix more polishes like this, this year. I always find myself using just one finish at a time. Meaning if I'm using a creme that is it. If I am using a holo that is it. I mean yeah I'll add a glitter or metallic accent but rarely do I mix them ALL. However here I have mixed cremes, holo, and a chunky glitter! Kind of loving it!

All of the washi bits are from Target I believe. We have a washi selection we have has accumulated over the past year and I just used what ever matched. :) I love also cut it in little points this time to make some pieces look like banners/arrows. I've never done that before but I'm kind of loving it. Honestly this whole layout is different than I am used to but its nice for a change.  Have you changed up your planner look if you decorate?

Hello Nail Art

All of the polishes will be listed down below! :) The art was done to match the little doodles I did in the layout. There were just some stickers that I felt needed something around them so I added dots here and there along with triangles. It helped to complete the planner spread as well as the mani. Ha and the "cursive" hello attempt sure was tricky but from afar its ok! Hehe! What do you think?

White | Pretty Beautiful Unlimited - White Out

Black Glitter | Zoya - Imogen

Gold | Takko Lacquer - Alchemist

Mint | Heroine NYC - Empower-Mint

This layout really is different for me, but I like it. Kind of wish I could do it again next week, but I think I will just go wintery. I mean its January right? Its cold everywhere right now I think. Really weird. I mean I don't mind a cold day here and there but right now its like high 30s as our high in Florida! Thats crazy. I mean we have been here for 4 years and yeah we haven't seen that as a high, maybe a low for sure but not a high!

Hello Nail Art

Well that is it for today! I hope you have enjoyed this blog post. I really enjoyed the change up and sharing a bit more with you. I know every year that is a plan for me but really I do LOVE to do things like this so here is to hopefully more of that. I know next week will be nails everyday because of the Digital Dozen but the theme is fun so we should still be having a good time! Hope you are having a great day and I will talk to you all very soon!

Happy Painting!
