Nails Inc Self Made Mermaid Duo

Hello and welcome back! Today I have a 2 in one post so get ready, its gonna be fun! First off I am sharing the new Nails Inc Self-made Mermaid Duo and then I am sharing nail art for the Digital Dozen. Its mythical creatures week and I am convinced Mermaid are in that category so its gonna be fun!

Nails Inc Ocean Ever After

Ocean Ever After
2 coat(s)

A sparkly blue/green shimmer that is the perfection ocean color.

Nails Inc Ocean Ever After

There are few words I can use to express my love for this polish honestly. Its beyond words for me. This polish is just WOW! To get this across I have to say I haven't loved a polish this much in a long time. Like its just sooo impressive. The polish is beautiful, its like the ocean in a bottle. No kidding, its got the blue/green you see on a normal day, but as it moves on your nails its just like a sunny day when the blue sky reflects and makes the water even more blue.

The formula is just fabulous! It almost covers in 2 coats but the second coat really just sets it off, and makes it soooo powerful. Also this was/is my first time using Nails Inc. and I just love the brush. Its perfectly curved to get a wonderful cuticle line and its a nice size and has a nice softness that allows you to almost get the whole nail on one stroke.

I took photos of this polish everywhere because of its blinding beauty and also due to the fact in some lights it looked more green, and others more blue. Hence how its like the ever changing ocean. Also this polish matches out living room decor so well! :) (yes its beachy themed)

The shimmer in this is so intense. Its so reflective and just amazing. I am not one to usually love polishes like this. You all probably know that I am quite the creme liker. For example I only ever wear cremes on my toes for flip flop seasons, which is like 11 months, but I have actually put this on, and love it. I'm also wearing it on my right hand now!

Nails Inc Mermaid Parade

Mermaid Parade
2-3 coat(s)

A opalescent teal that goes to purple.

Another fabulous formula and once again I was so happy with the brush and application overall. It was a bit more thin but it applied really nice, and built up really well in my opinion. Its name is so cute too! Ahh, mermaid. Sometimes I wish I could be a mermaid! You? LOL! This polish is totally what I could see their scales looking like. It also really reminds be of the colors you see in an abalone shell or a pen shell. Especially when you move your nails with this polish on and the purple shows up! Just look at it below!

Epppp, I love it! Its again sooo pretty and versatile in color range eh?! Oh my, ok  I need to contain my excitement! LOL! These polishes are just so so me. Now on to some art using both of them because they are amazing together as well!

Mermaid Nail Art

Sorry about the wonky skin coloring! It really didn't want to pick on on cameras accurate so I decided the polish color being accurate was more important. :) For this nail art look I had each polish on 2 nails and then I used Ocean Ever After on top of a mermaid Vinyl from Snail Vinyls and then for dots too! The starfish is a very impractical charm that won't last you though anything! LOL! Its fun though, because who doesn't love starfish!

Here ya go, this skin tone it 100% more accurate. Ghostly, yeah I need to head to the beach ASAP! ;) Well I hope you are loving this look and these polishes. You can check them out in todays video, AND you can also see the nail art coming together in the video as well!

Well that is it! I hope you liked the swatches and my take on a mythical creature. I'm sure not all consider mermaid that but I do for this week because I want all the reasons to do mermaid looks! ;) Also it just needed to happen with these polishes don't you think? You can check out more polish by Nails Inc here. Also I kind love the whole lil blurb on their site about these being for MerBabes, how cute/funny and a tad cheesy! Ha, Love it!!! Let me know what you thought of everything in the comments below and check out all of todays other manis!

Happy Painting!
