Hello and welcome back! Today I have a fun lil look at 2 items that will be in the March Polish Pickup! If you have not heard about the Polish Pick up yet don't worry, I will fill you in! So basically its a monthly event of a whole bunch of different brands coming together for a certain theme to sell exclusive items for a limited amount of time all in one shop! So you get a chance to try a bunch of brands all in the same purchase, which is really neat! Below is how the Polish Pickup site explains it....
Polish Pickup offers a fun, interactive experience that allows you to submit theme ideas, vote for your favorite theme, and selectively purchase your favorite polishes. Because of the time needed behind the scenes, themes are voted on far in advance. This allows for the makers to plan ahead and ensure they are putting forth a quality product.
Theme submission window: The period in which you may submit theme suggestions. This is open during the first four days prior to the first Friday of the month.
Theme voting window: The top ten themes will be listed on both on the site and in the Facebook group, and you may vote for your favorite! The voting window is open from the first Friday of the month to the first Sunday of the month, and the theme chosen will be used 2 months out.
Shop window: This is the period of time in which you can purchase the current month’s polishes. The Polish Pickup shop is live the first Friday of each month at 11 AM EST. It stays open for four days, until the following Monday at Midnight EST.

Its filled with all things nail related and even ventures into other beauty aspects from bath and body, to jewelry which is really cool. Now today I am sharing a look at 2 items from Baroness X and they are their Acetone Antidotes!
If you are new to acetone antidotes they are basically little additives you can add to straight acetone. They have multiple purposes too. The main one being they add hydrating aspects to your acetone. It does this while also not changing the power of the removal. Its really helpful in you not drying out your nails and skin surrounding your nails which is always nice. Especially in those dry months where you are already doubling up on the oils and lotions! This is another way to fight the dryness!
Also they add a nice enjoyable scent to your acetone which I don't know about you but I think thats nice! I use remover all the time and this just makes that a bit more enjoyable! :)
For the March Polish Pickup they have a book theme and Baroness has created 2 new Acetone Antidotes inspired by the book.... "A Clockwork Orange" by Anthony Burgess
First up is Clockwork Orange which is the orangey colored on in the photo above! It smells just like a dreamsicle too so if you like that scent you are going to love this! This ones inspiration came straight from the book title!
Price : $4.50
Cap: Yes, only 115 available
Next up is Moloko Drengo which is inspired by a drug laced milk drink in the book, "A Clockwork Orange" by Anthony Burgess. This one smells very sweet. As if you are in a chocolate shop or a fudge shop. Like a mix of the chocolate and fresh waffle cones!
Price : $4.50
Cap: No
Description For Both: Acetone Antidote is an additive containing glycerin and jojoba oil to help protect and moisturize your nails, skin, and cuticles during polish removal.
Recommended Use: Add the entire vial to 6-8oz of acetone. You can add more or less, these are just suggestions for optimal scent and protection from acetone.
Both of these will be available starting on March second HERE on the Polish Pickup Site! You can currently go on the the Polish Pickup Site and even make a wish list to make the initial release day easier for you! :) I think thats such a nice feature! You can also join the Facebook group to stay up to date with all of the thing! Check it out here! For other things from Baroness check out their site here.

ReplyDeleteThank you SOO much! I was really happy with this batch!
DeleteI don't use them in my acetone, but add drops to my cleanup dish - they work great for making cleanup a little less harsh.
ReplyDeleteNow that is a great idea!!!
DeleteI don’t think I would want my acetone to smell like these at all haha but maybe more fruity or natural. I feel like it wouldn’t drown out the chemical smell and it would be like chemical foods haha
ReplyDeleteDidn't think of it that way but that makes sense!!! Fruity would be great! I guess you that a bit with the citrus in the Clockwork Orange one, but still sweet since its dreamsicle!
