Hello and welcome back! Today I am really excited about this blog post! Its so full of so many things, from neat products, to polish, 2 nail art looks and even a tutorial for one of them! Ahhh, yes so much! So first up let me Introduce you to Dip Into Pretty! They are a 5 Free, Cruelty Free, and Vegan company that actually started the pedicure spacers! First up though we are going to start with some polish swatches!
On Pointe
2 coat(s)
A light Pastel pink creme.
This polish was the first one I put on our of the bunch and I instantly feel in love. Its like the perfect pale pink, thats not too lavender, nor too red. Its just right. The formula was a bit thin on the first coat but the second one covers it completely and it just look so nice on! I'm a bit pale and I feel like it gives me a tan illusion, granted I did get some sun this week soooo.... I have worn it a few times since swatch too!
Girls Night Out
2 coat(s)
A sheer/jelly based navy filled with cobalt shimmer, that shift to a royal purple with a hint of green.
This is the only jelly like polish in this group and I actually use the term jelly loosely. Its more sheer than jelly but does kind of give off a jelly like vibe too! The shimmer in it is really pretty. The cobalt blue shimmer is really the only one that shows up tho. In the bottle you see blue, purple, and green, but on the nail you don't see all of those, granted its still pretty!
Paint the Town
2 coat(s)
A shimmery red that had sheens on magenta and firey sparkles running throughout.
This is a really pretty red, and the formula was great. For years and years it took forever for me to find good reds, but now they are popping up more and more. This one covered in 2 coats, and it was great. It didn't seem to paint, but a lil when you first remove when your cotton ball hits your skin, thats something that I think happen with ALL reds.
Dip Into Pink
2 coat(s)
A bright pink/magenta creme that has a slight shimmer running throughout it.
I love the you find a creme formula that has shimmer in it and this is just that! I really love this one. It almost covers in one coat, and some might actually get away with one. I felt like the 2nd coat just was the icing on top for me. It even everything out and it looked great.
Next up is some art and the appearance of their topper polish which y'all can probably tell is a scattered holo glitter topper. Its called City Lights and its gorgeous and packed. On my ring finger that is only one coat. The others I just tried to create a gradation look!
I thought it would be fun to bring all go the pinks together for this look so I did just that. The purple and yellow were an after thought to just make it extra spring like. The flowers are blooming here so it felt right!
The floral was freehanded as usual and it was all freehanded! Plus guess what!? There is a new video up today and it not only goes over the polishes, but it also included a nail art tutorial for this look! Hope you like it!
Ok here is the video where you can see all of the polishes in action, PLUS there is the nail art tutorial for the mani you just saw, AND I talk about the pedi spacers that they started with.
Here is a look at the jewel shaped ones they sent me. They are really cute and so practical. Basically they help space out your toes while you give yourself your pedicure which is nice, and such an improvement from those foam ones where the whole thing is connected. Ha, that was always so uncomfortable. They tho are more comfy, and if it can make doing my toes go quicker for a pedicure I'm all for it. I don't like doing my toes. I mean I love them being done and they are ALWAYs done but I just don't like doing it. The pressure of messing up and redoing, or getting it on the floor and so on, eh. Just too much but I do it! All year, you?
They also sent some cute flower ones which y'all can see there. These even have a lil sparkle granted you can't really see it in the photos but still! I promise its there! Apparently they have all sorts of cute options too!
Here I decided to do another fun mani that was inspired by a stamped design I saw someone use on Instagram in this mani HERE. You all know I am not such a stamper so I free handed it for something fun! :)
Well guys! That is it for today! I hope you enjoyed the swatches, the art, and the video! It was a really fun post/video to work on! If you are interested in checking out any of the products I mentioned you can HERE. They polishes are $6 and the pedi spacers are $9.99 or they have different combo packs you can pick that may include multiple polishes and or spacers or even a bit of both! Let me know what you think of everything in the comments below! Overall I was very impressed!
Happy Painting!
