Hello and happy Monday! I know most of you probably don't associate "Monday" and "happy" together but I do! :) Monday always involves a new blog post and a new video which I love! Today I am sharing a new to me brand called Frozen Water Designs. Their polishes are lovely and I am really excited to share some photos!
As you guys expected there is a swatch video to go along with todays so be sure to check that out! The formulas were so neat to see because they are really good and these showed up pretty well on camera so you can see the shimmery sheens and the holo! So I think you guys will like that!
Midnight
2 coat(s)
A dark charcoal purple with a magenta shimmer flash, and scattered holo.
This polish is a beauty as you can see. The formula was so nice and this polish just applied so evenly and as you can see looks lovely on! The shimmer to scattered holo ratio is just right and it looks lovely on as you can see.
Lupe
2 coat(s)
A coral with a golden shimmer flash, and scattered holo.
Oooo, I love this one! This is actually my favorite one from today post. Its the perfect coral with a golden shimmer that makes me think of summer. I feel like its a sun kissed polish if that makes sense. Maybe that only makes sense to me but... :) Its just a beauty and has a fabulous formula.
Midnight
2 coat(s)
An icy grey lavender with a purple shimmer flash, and scattered holo.
This ones is a neat icy version of the others! Its cool toned and I would even venture to say that the holo shows up more in this ones than the shimmer sheen/flash. Its a tab bit thinner than the other 2 we already looked at but it covers fully in 2 coats.
This was just a fun additional one she sent called Oops 1! Its a pearly white topper with blue glitter squares in it. I could see some really loving this for... dare I say, winter. The squares do take a bit of fishing but its fun!
Here is a look at a scattered Holo topper called "Holo Test". I paired it on a bold cobalt blue in hopes to make it pop in photos and I think it showed pretty well.
This topper was so nice. This was just one coat and the holo spread out so nice and evenly. There weren't any patch spots, or anything. Great ratio of base to scattered holo. Sometimes toppers have too much base but that was not the case with this one. So I have also used this topper for a mani for this weeks Digital Dozen theme which I am going to have below.
Frozen Water Designs doesn't have an Instagram at the moment for you to check out but they do have polish available on their Etsy Shop that you can check out HERE.
Digital Dozen Day 1 | Indie Love
This weeks DD theme is Indie Love so I have just decided to go ahead and include it in here since this whole post was showing off some lovely indie polishes. Now I am just using the topper I talked about as a accent nail for a fun lil tropical-ish floral.
The white polish is also an Indie polish but one that is no longer around so I feel like I should just leave it unnamed. Considering I mean it was voted one of the most missed brands. Anywhooo the art was free handed as usual and I just kind of made it up as I went.
Here is a lil bit of a closer look! Well that is it for today! I hope you have enjoyed this blog post from the art to all of the swatches and the videos! Let me know what your favorite polish was in the comments below!
Happy Painting!
