Hello and welcome back! Today I have a new duo to show you from Moon Shine Mani! On Friday a new duo called Leaf Nothing to Be Desired came out and its a Facebook Group Exclusive, which means if you are in the Moon Shine Mani Facebook group you can get these polishes now until October 22nd. So lets just get to the fun polishes and then the detail! :)
Don't Leaf Me This Way
3 coats
A linear holographic smoky cadet blue base gleaming with platinum flakies, and an abundance of red/bronze/copper and gold/bronze/silver multichrome flakies.
This polish is stunning and so complex with so much going on as you can tell from looking at the polish and reading the description. Its a neat charcoal grey blue base with almost a jelly base and then all of the fall colors in shimmers and flakies.
Formula wise it needs about 2 colors to build up to this darkness but I say its totally worth it and since MSM has the best big brushes ever its so nice to apply that you don't notice the fact you are doing a 3rd coat.
Do You Be-leaf in Magic?
2 coats
A turquoise cream sparkling with red/gold/green aurora shimmer and blue-purple multichrome pigment. It's dancing with three different flakies: blue/green/ gold and purple-blue iridescent chameleon flakies and red/bronze/copper multichrome flakies.
This is such a nice fall turquoise creme, I love these types of shade for fall actually they are one of my favorites!
The formula is great, goes on sheer on the first coat, but builds up completely with the second coat and there is such a nice amount of fall colored flakies/shimmer in this polish so you can be all fall like without being over the top, which I love!
Now how about some nail art with these polishes!
First up I felt like fall was in order for this super fall polish with all of the mixed metals in it as well. To keep the mixed metals theme going I used a gold metallic acrylic paint to create the leaves and dots then of outlined it them with brown.
After that I decided a matte top coat would really help it all pop so I applied a matte on top and it really helped I think. What do you think? Its not super indoor fave but you can totally fell all fall festive with it for sure.
Really I do love this polish, it look great both matte and shiny too which is always nice!
Soon as I put on the turquoise I wanted to pair it with a Cooper and so I did it and its like the most perfect combo in my opinion. They just look so nice together!
The Cooper is China Glaze Swatch Out! and I just used a medium sized dotter tool.
What do you think of the combo!? Would you wear it!
So these polishes are available now if you are in the Moon Shine Mani Facebook Group if you are not in it yet you can join here. Once you are in the group you can then see the code that you can use in the Moon Shine Mani shop here. With the code you get in the FB group the duo will be $20, or individually they will be $11. So thats I think all he info you need! I hope you enjoyed this post and seeing some art with each polish! Let me know which one your fave was in the comment below!
Happy Painting!
