Hello there everyone! How was your weekend?! It was gorgeous here, and it felt like fall for the first time this year. Any whooo, today I have swatches and art of the new Pretty Beautiful Unlimited Halloween Party Time Quad collection which consists of 4 fun new polish. I love the balance of these polishes because they are all Halloween like together but also not too in your face so really you can wear them all year too!
Costume Party
3 coats
White crelly based Polish with a custom mix of Halloween inspired glitters of various shapes and sizes. Major glitters colors being; purple, orange, green.
This is the one polish in the collection that most definitely says Halloween and not being a huge fan of all the dark spooky stuff I think this is amazing! Its a bright happy version of Halloween and makes you smile. Oh and makes me think of icing with sprinkles ! Why? I don't know, but its got to be a cupcake or cookie right?!
The formula on this was most easy to use and it does take 3 coats to build up really I like that crelly polishes build up because the more layers the neater the look on the nail with all of the layers.
Masquerade Ball
2-3 coats
A deepened purple appearing black thermal that shifts to a colorless almost a bit grey toned color, filled with aurora pigment, black micro glitters, and various flakies.
A thermal and boy is it fun! Its "cold" state is what you see in the bottle which is a deep purple/black look and then the "warm" state is body temp and the clear/grey look which is fun and I think you can see the full shift in the gif above! If now I have also included all the shifting photos below! Was trying to find a new fun way to show case thermal polishes and I think this is fun. What do you think?
here is a close look at the almost 100% warm look. When its 100% warm its more clear as you saw earlier and its really fun. With this one I did say 2-3 coats because he more sheer shift will become a bit more grey if you have 3 coats verses 2. In all of these photos I have 2 coats on.
Then here it is cold, and its just such a lovely polish isn't it?!
Monster Mash
2 coats
A mossy green holographic based polish packed with 4 types of flakies, 2 types of aurora pigment, and iridescent micro glitters.
Now my fave which is Monster Mash! This is such a nice green with so much holo, and shimmer going on. The formula was perfect and I mean just look at this polish. How could one not like it. Well I mean unless you don't like green, but really even a non green liker could be converted after this one with all of its beautiful holo, aurora shimmer, and those flakies.
It all just sets so well and evenly on the nail that it just looks really nice on the nails and its so fun. Plus the name remind me of this (My fave rendition of Monster Mash).
Pumpkin Carving Party
2 coats
An orange holographic based polish with red and gold holographic micro shreds, 2 types of flakies, pink and chameleon micro glitters and a little hint of aurora pigment .
This is such a lovely orange and we all know I'm not a huge orange fan unless its in a sunset or sunrise! LOL! This one is perfectly named and the color and balance of flakies shreds and glitters are just so perfect.
The formula applied perfectly and I love the golden glow to it which totally makes it even more fitting for this time of year since its Jack-o-Lantern season as well!
Now how about some art!
So I was recently inspired by THIS mani by NailsbyMercedes I just loved the lil star bunting nails! As usual I used acrylic paint for the details because acrylic paint is the best thing ever for nail art.
What do think of this mani! I feel like its not really "halloween" but the base makes it that way which thinking that I want to do it with 4th of July Colors next year! Like how cool would that be!
Next up I thought hummm eyeballs? and just went with it! It came out kind of fun! I also once again did use acrylic paint. However the green in the eyeball is the polish, I just used a dotting tool and one dot gave a lighter green over white so there was still a nice contrast I think.
Also I mattified all of these manis because I just felt it really helped to show off different qualities of the polishes and would make seeing it matte more fun than just a shiny and matte swatch.
Now lastly we have some bats because I haven't done any bats this year I don't think anyway! :) So I freehanded these and for some reason I find bats hard to paint. Anyones else? Its like I paint one, and I like it but I cant replicate it again. Like on my index finger the bat that is closest to my middle finger is probably my fave. It came out the most defined.
Yet the others kinda are just vague bats! LOL!
Well guys thats a wrap for today! I hope you have enjoyed the swatches and the art! I had so much fun with collection. Its the perfect amount of Halloween without being too much so even if you aren't a Halloween lover I think there is still a polish for you! :) Like I mean Monster Mash, thats an all around the year type of color don't you think? What was your fave of this new collection from Pretty Beautiful Unlimited?
These polishes are available now so below is a link to the shop! You can get all 4 as a set for $38, or each individually for either $11 or $9 depending on the Polish! :)
Happy Painting!

ReplyDeleteI love Costume Party! It reminds me of the frosted pumpkin spice cookies I got from Trader Joe's.
ReplyDeleteAfter watching your video yesterday, it was great to see the closeup photos of this collection because the colors really show up better. I still love pumpkin Carving Party (as well as the bat nail art), but now I also love Costume Ball and Monster Mash. It's a great collection
