Painted Phalanges The Traditions Collection

Hello and Happy last day of November! I don't know how that is honestly possible but that's what the calendar says so I guess we will go with it. Today I have the new Painted Phalanges The Traditions Collection to show you! Its inspired by various holiday traditions which I think is super fun! So as we go through the polish I will share what the creator was inspired by and then I'll go over if it fits with anything I do for the holidays because why not! :)

Painted Phalanges Baubles

Baubles
3 coats
This evergreen jelly polish inspires images of a decorated Christmas tree. It has a mix of multicolor sheer glitter, multicolor and different shapes of metallic glitter, and it’s topped off with holographic silver glitter. An English co-worker of mine calls Christmas tree ornaments Baubles and I couldn’t think of a more fitting name.

Painted Phalanges Baubles

This is such a fun festive polish! I mean just look at it, its a Christmas Tree green and then it has a neat mix of shimmers/glitters that make it look like a decorated Christmas tree. The macro below really shows it all well I think.

The formula is super easy to work with. Its a bit sheer but I think its actually perfect for this polish because it allows for the glitters to layer and give a neat depth on the nails rather than them all being on the same level.

Painted Phalanges Grandmas's Recipes

Grandma's Recipe

This deep pink polish has metallic gold holographic glitter and silver and copper holographic micro glitter. We all have a favorite treat to make share with family and friends at this time of year and/or one we love to EAT! My husband makes a special treat from one of his grandma’s recipes each year, only during the Holidays, and it’s a family favorite.

This is such a nice magenta, its a happy Pink that I can totally see being a Christmas Pink. It also has a nice touch of glitter in it without being to over powering!

Also I mean this one is inspired by baked goods and everyone love those! We always make numerous cookies for Christmas. We have cut it down a bit lately and just make sure we do one batch of everyones Holiday favorite.

Painted Phalanges Let's Go Caroling

Let's Go Caroling
3 coats
I don’t know about where you live, but if you go caroling in Idaho you will be COLD.
Whether you playing in it or out caroling in it, cold winter wind and mounds of snow inspired an icy blue crellie full of iridescent flakies, metallic turquoise hex glitter, aqua and navy micro glitter, white matte glitter and shreds, and holographic micro glitter.

Painted Phalanges Let's Go Caroling

Ok the story behind this one just makes me cold. Ekk! We've actually been really cold lately for this time of year and I'm not loving it! LOL! So this polish is just the perfect winter wonderland crelly! I think Frosty the Snowman when I see it. Which brings me to a question, is Frosty a Christmas thing? Or is Frosty just a winter thing? I don't know!

Painted Phalanges Let's Go Caroling

This one applies really well even though it is sheer. The sheerness allows for the nice layers of glitters  and I love the touch of the cobalt glitters.

Painted Phalanges PJ Party!

PJ Party!

Christmas jammies!! Some families give them Dec 1st, some on Christmas Eve, matching or all different, but they all make fun pictures. My family opens our Christmas jammies on the night of the 24th. This Blurple polish has an aqua/green/gold shimmer that makes the overall effect look like a night sky.

Painted Phalanges PJ Party!

I love there there is a polish named after PJs in this tradition collection because PJS are a part of my favorite Christmas tradition! Every Christmas Eve we all get new PJs and then the next morning we all get to wake up in new PJS and its just fun. We've done that for as long as I can remember.

Painted Phalanges PJ Party!

This one covers fairly quickly in 2 coats and the scattered shimmer in here is electric. It has a green, gold, light blue shift and its such a nice combo. They sit well in the polish and give of a night sky feel of those clear winter nights looking up to see the stars.

Painted Phalanges The COUNTDOWN!

The Countdown
2 coats

Big or Small, I don’t think we ever quit counting down the days until our Holiday celebrations and presents, It just changes from paper chains to advent calendars and exquisite crafts. The COUNTDOWN! Is a classic red jelly polish with gold shreds, shimmer, and glitter.

Painted Phalanges The COUNTDOWN!

The official countdown begins tomorrow guys! Are you excited?! I usually am, but also feel like I have a lot to do this year sooooo, not sure yet where I stand! LOL! This polish is so fun with the warm lil golden flakies, then combine that with holographic micro glitters is just fabulous.

Painted Phalanges The COUNTDOWN!

This polish builds up really nice and covers in 2 coats and then you just have super festive nails!

Painted Phalanges The Little Lights Are Not Twinkling

The Little Lights are Not Twinkling
3 coats

Watching Christmas Vacation on Thanksgiving kicks of our Christmas season. When we get closer to Christmas, we love to go look at all of the gorgeous lights that people have worked so hard on. This line from the movie was perfect for both! The Little Lights are not Twinkling is full of sparkle! It’s a tarnished silver with a mix of micro glitters, shimmers and holographic glitter that is a perfect for a sparkly Holiday manicure.

Painted Phalanges The Little Lights Are Not Twinkling

Lastly we have a "tarnished silver" which really is a polish that can be worn all year and will make a great accent nail for a Christmas mani! Its silver/holo shimmer base that then has some larger micro glitters!

Painted Phalanges The Little Lights Are Not Twinkling

Isn't it just a neat polish, and the tarnished silver description is so spot on!

Painted Phalanges The Traditions Collection

So now that you've seen all of these don't you think its just a really fun collection?! :) I love the whole feel of it all, the idea of it all being around traditions. Its just fun!
