Hello and welcome back! Today I have a blog post that features Salon Perfects Limited Edition Halloween Polishes. Yes Halloween is past but since these are still available at numerous Wal-Marts and since they work for fall in general as well as great accent nails I thought I would go ahead and show them to you. That being said I have swatches and art today, and a swatch video on my Youtube Channel as well.
Lust At First Bite
2 coats for Full Coverage or 1 coat as a Topper
A yellowy golden micro glitter.
The sparkle intensity with this is so pretty! Its a bit more of a yellow-y cold glitter but its really pretty and will make for a perfect accent nail! The polish is so packed and you get so much glitter on each coat. 2 Coats brought me to full coverage.
Nine Lives
2 coats
A black based crelly polish with a golden and silver micro glitters.
Ok now this is a different take on a black polish and I'm loving this! The metallic-y glitter shows so well and really just works with the black nicely and gives off a really nice look.
Too Cute To Spook
2 coats for Full Coverage or 1 coat as a Topper
A coppery orange micro glitter with little tinie tiny black park glitters.
This is such a perfect "fall" orange because its a bit deep and it just looks LOVELY on and actually has quite a bit of depth to it. The formula was perfect and you get full coverage in 2 coats.
Under Her Spell
1 coat as a Topper
A purple shimmer topper with orange and little pops of blue.
Under Her Spell is such a pretty topper. I paired it on top of Salon Perfect Oil Slick which is their one coat black that I love! Its just a lovely topper and totally pops on the black but you can totally pair it on anything. I tested it over a lavender and it was lovely!
Now since were are in this weird transitional art season where you cant quite do Christmas nails yet but also its too late I've decided to just got fall like with some pumpkins.
I freehanded them with acrylic paint on top of Nine Lives then topped it with a matte top coat!
Next up and lastly I used Oil Slick which is the black and then just did a little gradation with Too Cute To Spook.
I used no tools with this. I actually just used the polish brush to do it and it was very easy!
Such a nice fall mani and easy at that. * I say as I am watching a Christmas movie*.
Well guys that is it for today! Quick little post but fun as we hold off on Christmas overload but in all honesty I am so ready for it!
These polishes are now available at Walmart.
Happy Painting!
~25 Sweetpeas
These are very pretty. I think the orange one is my favorite. I love what you did with it on top of the black.
ReplyDeleteToo cute to spook is def the standout. That orange can be worn through November
ReplyDeleteUnder Her Spell topper is pretty! I love the gradient you created with Too Cute To Spook over black. And that pumpkin nail art - ADORABLE!
