Hello there everyone! How are you? Hope you had a wonderful Holiday! Its been a bit since I've been on here blogging but guess what, I'm back and feeling fresh. :) You may have been noticing some changes taking place in the appearance department, which I am most excited about, but more on that another day! Today its all about the recap/wrap up on Nailmas. If you subscribe to my channel on Youtube you may be all up to date but if not, lets catch up! So everyday from December 1st - 24th I have had a new day of Nailmas video up on Youtube, see playlist here, which consisted of 20 nail art designs, a magazine/polish release, a favorites video, and a fun gift set video. It was all so very fun and I really enjoyed it, so lets check out the recap!
Day 1 - Christmas Palm Trees
This mani was one of my faves for sure. Its just so me and I love a good beach Christmas mani any day and one of my goals this Nailmas was to create numerous Beachy Christmas Manis and I think I accomplished that which makes me super happy!
Day 2 - Mistletoe
This mani was a super easy one to create and I actually enjoyed its simplicity. With Nailmas I did have to make sure to do manis I could actually film because painting on and off camera varies quite a bit.
Day 3 - Winter Cabin
This mani was one that I had in my head and just wasn't convinced it would translate to the nail and I was very hesitant about doing it but it worked and I was so happy about that!
Day 4 - Festive Plaid
Plaid has never been my song suit so I wanted to give it a go at least once this season, and I loved these Morgan Taylor Shades so I had to figure something out.
Day 5 - Reindeer Nail Art
I really enjoyed these, using new polishes at the time and trying to create a reindeer in the way I did a unicorn earlier this year.
Day 6 - Christmas Tree Sweater Nails
The polish I used for the mani was/is just so fun! It was a perfect combo for this type of mani too!
Day 7 - Santa Suit
I don't often so Santa Manis, for some reason I've just never been into them but this year this one was super fun and I'm glad I gave I a go!
Day 8 - Christmas Dotticure
You really can't go wrong with a dotticure! I love them and when you modify one and do it in Holiday colors its even better.
Day 9 - Christmas Cacti
I loved these so much, they came out like I had hoped and I was just really happy about that.
Day 10 - DIY Sugar Scrub
Today I showed how to make a nice DIY sugar scrub.
Day 11 - Christmas Foliage
Tried to mix all sorts of green pines and branches and holly to make a Christmas-y foliage mani and I really love the base color.
Day 12 - Christmas By the Sea
Ok this was by far my favorite mani of the bunch. It was just so fun to paint and my ideal Christmas mani honestly. I've never been to the beach on Christmas but I want to, and hope to get there this week.
Day 13 - Christmas Quatre Foil
Love a quatre foil any time of the year and I wanted to use some of the new CG polishes and Create a candy cane inspired one so that is what I did.
Day 14 - Magazine Release/Polish Release
Day 14 was release day. I launched this years Christmas Cookie Mani Swap, and then I also released a polish with Takko Lacquer called Baking Season, pictured here.
Day 15 - Winter Nail Polish Faves
Today was a collab video!
Day 16 - Silver Bells
Used a polish from my Glisten and Glow Advent box and created this really fun Silver Bells mani!
Day 17 - Gift Sets
Had some fun looking at some great Christmas ideas!
Day 18 - Christmas in The Woods
Loved the polishes I used for this so much! I can not wait to do a full video on them!
Day 19 - Holly Nail Art Collab
I did this as a collab with Polished Lifting and we both did this same mani and it was so fun! Inspired by an Instagramer we both have admired!
Day 20 - Abstract Christmas Mani
Sometimes you have a day where you have zero ideas yet you know what polish you want to wear so you then come up with an abstract mani!
Day 21 - Black & Gold Christmas Tree
For this video I wanted to create a mani you could wear for Christmas and be festive but also wear until New Years and also be festive for then, and this mani came too!
Day 22 - Christmas Pineapple Nails
Another one of my faves! I just had to create a new Holiday Pineapple Mani so this is what came out, and I've enjoyed it quite a bit!
Day 23 - Christmas Pattern
Check out the video for the story of this mani! I will say it had grown on me but...
Day 24 - Nativity
For the final day I closed out the series with a mani celebrating the reason for the season with a nativity scene,
And that is a wrap! There was a look into all 24 videos! I honestly can't believe I made it and got all of the video done and published on their designated days, Kind of amazed myself and all while keeping up every other part of life in the busiest season of the year. Hope you all enjoyed the series as much as I did! I'm already thinking about how I will do it next year, ha! Let me know what day was your favorite and if you would like to see this again next year!
