Hello and happy Easter weekend! It kind of snuck up on me so I only have one new mani + tutorial to show you, but in addition to that I also have a look back at some of my past favorite Easter Manis plus some of those also have tutorials so I'll link ya to everything so you can find some inspiration for some Easter or just spring manis! Neither of them are exclusively Easter, so lets go start with the new mani!
First up we have the new mani which I just did after revisiting old manis and realizing I missed going florals. So I went for a sweet dainty girly like mani for this years Easter design. I used China Glaze Life is Beautiful as my base but in honesty while I love the color, I don't love the formula, Its an older polish, so maybe they have reformulated it since. But it kinda leaves ridges from the brush when applying. It's kinda hard to explain because it's not streaky, it's ridgey.
Then for all of the art I used acrylic paint. I started with dotting very tinnie tiny golden dots on as the background, and then moving on to the egg. After the egg was dry I would then suggest doing your golden stripes/ egg decor next. I didn't and it was tricky to do after the floral. Sooo.... then you can do the floral. You can see how I layered it in todays Youtube Video HERE.
Now lets take a trip back to some older manis from Easters Past/Spring's past. The first one is one of my faves!
Bunny in a Flower Crown? Yes please!! I loved this mani so so much. It was based off my unicorn mani that I did, and I still love it. I have a video on it actually. You can see its tutorial here.
Next up and lastly we have a cute lil spring scene. You can totally just leave off the eggs if you don't want it to be Easter like. I don't have a video for this, but there is a blog post you can check out here for more details on it.
Well everyone that is a wrap! I hope you enjoyed the new mani, and the revival of older ones! I really loved all of these looks! Hope you are having a nice weekend and I'll talk to you very soon!
