China Glaze Body & Sol Collection Review

Hello there and welcome back! Today I have swatches to show you of the new China Glaze Body & Sol Collection. Its a new one that consists of 8 polishes. I'll be totally honest, when I saw this summer collection with all neutral shades and Earthy tones I was like, hummers' I don't know how I feel about this. However, I kinda love it!

It took me by surprise for sure. I never thought I'd be writing about a collection that was this calm for summer and saying I love it, but... I love it! The formulas over all were excellent, the finishes were nice and all of them actually looking a-ok on my skin tone! Woo, that's rare! So let's take a peek!

Skinny Tipping

2 Coats

A Peachy creme with a shimmer.

This was a shocking polish to me. Mainly because it is so peachy and even a lil tangerine-y. However the shimmer and slight dusty tone in it really made it. Its has an excellent formula and covered really well in 2 coats.

Beach Buff

2 Coats

A beige sandy silver micro glitter.

Now here we have a taupe wet sand shade! Ha, seriously tho it looks like wet sand right? This as an ever so slight scattered shimmer that is a silver I would say and it sits so well in the polish and DOES translate to the nail which is super nice. Again a great formula and easy to work with.

Beaches & Toes

2 Coats

A taupe holographic micro glitter.

China Glaze is calling this a taupe and thats spot on! The first coat is a bit sheer, almost jelly like but the second coat brings you to full coverage. Plus there is holo in this! Oooo! I really enjoyed this polish too, I actually wore it for a full day!

Tan-Do Attitude

2 Coats

A Golden tan micro glitter.

Now the shades are heating up. Ha! This is a warm beige/tan that has a lovely golden glow. Totally makes me think of a Coppertone Bottle for some reason! I loved it, its a really great shade, and again a great formula.

Copper-Tunist

2 Coats

A metallic-y Copper shimmer.

I am really into copper and rose gold and this copper is really great. The formula was a breeze to work with and surprisingly I had no brush stroke issues, even tho it totally looks like one of those that would cause some problems if ya know what I mean!

Glow-worthy

2 Coats

A Golden brown holographic micro glitter.

Now this polish is neat. This is a more golden brown metallic, very warm, and it has a scattered holo. It covered nicely in 2 coats, and I loved this one too. Its very warm looking!

Bronze Ambition

2 Coats

A Chocolate gold shimmer.

When I think of a way to describe this polish I keep going back to mocha. Its like the color of a hot chocolate if hot chocolate had a sublet golden shimmer! This covered well and looked nice on. I don't think I'll wear this one in the summer much tho, I'll try to pull it out in the Fall or for National Coffee Day! :)

Send Hues

2 Coats

A Dark brown with a rose micro glitter.

The final polish in the collection, is a deep dark one. It has a fun contrasting scattered shimmer though which I think makes it a super neat and unique polish. Its also a rose/pink shade shimmer wise and I love it! This one has an excellent formula!
