Glisten & Glow Tribute to the Troops Collection

Hello there everyone and welcome back to 25 Sweetpeas! Todays blog post is going to be all about a new collection from Glisten & Glow in Collaboration with The Cocco Channel. The collection is called Tribute to the Troops and consists of 6 new polishes perfect for this time of year! Lets check it out.




First off we will be looking at the cremes and then I will be showing each of the toppers on top of the cremes so you can see the different combos you have with this collection. I will then cover the toppers specifics at the end of the post where I show each of them built up to full coverage, and give the description.

SPARS of the Coast

2 coats

Medium teal creme.

This is such a nice teal that is like the perfect Jacksonville Jaguars shade might I add! :) The formula was excellent, and it covers perfectly in 2 easy coats!

Ships at Sea

2 coats

Navy blue creme.

You can always a navy creme, and this is a really good option to have! It has a good formula, and is super easy to apply in 2 easy coats!

OORAH! Semper Fi

2 coats

Crimson red creme.

This is a classic fall shade in my mind and it has a great formula. This covered perfectly in two coats. And dries super shiny! Granted I still advise a top coat! :)

Boots on the Ground

2 coats

Medium teal creme.

I actually really enjoy a mossy green shade in the fall, and this one is excellent! Its the perfect intensity, not too dark, but not too light. Also has an excellent formula.

Serving with You

3 coats

Matte topper filled with red/orange/green color shifting iridescent flakes, rainbow crystal chameleon flakes, gold shimmer and color shifting red/pink aurora shimmers.

The fact that this is a matte topper is kinda neat! Its different and looks really neat in 3 coats. Has a fall feel to it. Also this can be topped with a Shiny topper, and look great as well!

Sgt. Cocco

3 coats

Glossy topper filled with blue/yellow color shifting UCC flakes, blue/green/yellow color shifting iridescent flakes, holo flakes, and blue/green color shifting aurora shimmers.

This is my favorite topper of the bunch, and it has a nice formula. It can be worn as a polish with full coverage in 3 coats, or with one coat on top of another polish.
