Hello there and welcome back! Today I have a new collection to show you from Stella Chroma! Its a 4 piece collection inspired by Dumbledore from the Harry Potter Series! This collection will be releasing on the 28th of this month so lets check it out now so you can plan and make you lists! :)
Before we get into the collection though, here is a note from there creator, about the collection!
It is inspired by Albus Dumbledore from the Harry Potter series by JK Rowling. I've read the series at least 4 times, and in the beginning, I LOVED Dumbledore. By the end of Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows, my feelings about him had definitely changed. Now that I've reread, lived with it, and gotten a little older, I appreciate how complicated he was as a character and sympathize with the difficult choices he had to make throughout his life. I could go on (and on, and on...) but I won't. :)
You Brave, Brave Man
2 coats
This creamy white is inspired by the Kings Cross Station scene at the end of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Such a difficult scene to read (and watch) as Dumbledore comes face to face with Harry after the battle that has been 17 years in the making. To be called a brave, brave man by Albus Dumbledore had to be quite a moment for Harry. The stark white of Harry's Kings Cross is highlighted by holo flakies.
Well this is a really nice! Its a milky white with a nice silver scattered flakie and I really like. Its light, fresh and pretty! The formula is nice as well. It covers really nice in 2 coats.
I Do Love Knitting Patterns

This pale orchid creme is inspired by the robe Horace Slughorn is wearing in the living room scene where we first meet him. The scene is a complete joy to watch, and the polish is the same to apply. The multichrome shifting shimmer adds a lovely whimsical touch.
Ooo I really like this! Its a nice lavender shade leaning with a hint of pink! The formula is really nice too, the shimmer is a lovely touch as well!
What Is Right
2-3 coats
This blingy polish represents all of the joy that is Albus Dumbledore. Even when things were dire, he knew the importance of a lighthearted moment. This sheer beauty is a pinky purple like his robes with amazingly flashy holographic purple/blue shifting shards and blue iridescent flakies.******* This polish has had some reports of curling flakies so the pricing has changed and I will add that in and Update section at the end of there blog post! Also want to note that I wore this for about 24-48 hours and has no issues. I also only had one coat of a top coat on.
Whew this is a beauty and has a lot going on. Its a purple tint shade that reminds you a bit of a jelly. Then it has purple + silver + holographic flakies in it too and they really make it oh so fun! They do create a bit of a texture so I would suggest a top coat and tapping the top of your nail while the polish is wet to make sure no flakies are hanging off.
Severus, Please

This polish is inspired by what is arguably the most shocking moment in the whole series. Atop the Astronomy Tower on a grey night, Albus makes one of the most difficult requests of his life. He pleads, and his request is carried out. A medium grey creme with blue and green shimmer.
Ooo now this is my sort of grey, it looks very nice, has an excellent formula + has a shimmer. The shimmer pulls a bit green + blue, and I really like it!
After All This Time?
2 coats
Representing both Snape's Slytherin green and Lily Potter's green eyes, this green linear holo stunner with shifting UCC flakies is as timeless as his feelings for her.
I LOVE this! Its a regular linear holo + has flakies and its just the perfect combo! The formula is excellent and it covers perfectly in 2 coats and I just love how the flakies light up in this polish. Its a really neat shade of green too. Kind of an emerald, but also not because it has a hint more of a grass green. I don't know how to 100% describe the type of green it is but its pretty and happy!
It Is Our Choice
2 coats
Dumbledore was quite the Gryffindor. There are many arguments that could be made about him, but his bravery is undeniable. This polish is a nod to his Hogwarts house. The red base has a strong gold flash, especially in extreme lights. It is highlighted with red-gold-yellow shifting UCC flakies.
So this isn't what you expect to see this time of year but it is oh so pretty! From the lovely rich red base to the scattered flakies its really a pretty polish! The formula is great, and it covered perfectly in 2 quick coats.
So this collection is releasing on February 28th at noon EST. They will be $12 each. For the first 2 weeks of the release though you will be able to buy them as a collection for $65.
************ What Is Right Update *************
Because of the reports of curling of the flakies in this polish the price for this polish will be $9. Also if will NOT be included in the collection set mentioned above, and that price will now be $54. Also once What It Right does sell out it will not be restocked!
