Painted Phalanges Island Time Collection

Hello there and welcome back! Today I have a new collection to show you from Painted Phalanges! Its releasing on August 19th, and its Island Inspired which makes me so happy! :) I love all things tropical inspired so I was quite excited about this collection! So lets check it out!

Aloha

Makers Note :

Aloha is synonymous with Island life, you can’t really think of one without the other. Aloha is a big sister polish to last summer's Aloha oe. It’s an amped up creamsicle orange loaded with blue/purple/pink/orange/yellow shifty microflakies, bronze microflakies, and a red/pink/orange shifty shimmer.

The best way to have orange is in a sunset in my opinion so this is really fun one to be next to the next polish as its inspired by sunsets, and honestly they go great together! :) This covered really well in 2 easy coats!

Ali'i

Ali’i was inspired by island sunsets and Hawaii sunsets are some of the most beautiful and amazing sunsets I’ve seen. Maybe it’s because I get wrapped up in how amazing the islands themselves are and that feeling filters into everything. Ali’i is the Hawaiian word meaning noble or nobility, I think Nobel is a fitting description of Hawaiian sunsets. Ali’i is a muted sunset purple loaded with gold/green/oranges/red/yellow shifty microflakies and blue microflakies.

This is really pretty, a bit transparent but covers perfectly in 2 coats and creates a neat look with the layering of the flakies.

Rainbow Fish

A friend of mine who used to live in Hawaii suggested a picture of this fish as an inspiration for a polish. This is one I played around with for a long time but when I finalized this formula I knew it was perfectly what I had envisioned.  Rainbow Fish is a tropical teal blue that gets it’s rainbow fish scale look with 2 different kinds of shifty microflakies, white shreds, and pink, blue, purple, and platinum microflakies.

I love this, it reminds me of water, and seaglass so those are great things in my book! :) This covered well in 2 coats, but if you did want it a bit bolder you could do a 3rd no problem!

Salty Beaches

Makers Note :

 Inspired by the black sand beaches of the islands.  Salty beaches is a black jelly polish filled with black holo microglitter, black iridescent glitter, and some silver holo glitter speckled in. 

So at first with this one I was like black in an Island Time Collection, hummers', but then I was like wait, there are beaches with black sand, and on my coast line when the sand is super hot it does get dark and black like so, it makes sense, and was a fun unexpected shade! It covers in 2 coats, it is a bit textures so I would suggest pairing it with Painted Phalanges SMOOTH Phalanges Glitter Smoothing Layer before your top coat!

This 4 piece collection is releasing on August 19th on the Painted Phalanges website and will be available as a collection for $40 or individually each polish will be $11.
