2015 Color Of The Year: Marsala

Hello lovelies!! Today I have a swatch of a beautiful polish everyone should get this year! By now with already being in the 2nd month of 2015 I am sure you are all aware that Marsala is the year! Now if you didn't know that, well now you do! ;)

Now when I think of the word Marsala I think of the dish, Chicken Marsala. At least I think that's what it is called! Haha! So at first when I found out that was the color I was a bit confused to say the least! Then I looked it up and it was a beautiful color that I would call a burgundy. Now finding that it was burgundy I was excited!! Burgundy has to be one of my favorite winter time colors! Scarfs, boot cuffs, shirts and leggings are all things I have burgundy and love!!

Now I have official added "Marsala" to my nail polish too! Meet Liz by Zoya Nail Polish!

Liz is a beautiful Marsala color and I just love it on!! In the photo above it kind of pulls a bit more red than in person. Therefore I am here to tell you it for sure does have the burgundy tones in it! I truly love this color!

I ordered this polish last month in hopes it would be the perfect "Marsala" and I am so happy I got it because it is for sure what I was looking for!

Here is the "official" pose I use for all my nails. To get full coverage I got it all level in just 2 coats! Love a polish that has great coverage! I probably could of gotten away with even just one thick coat but I wasn't sure so I played it safe!

Now here is just one more picture! Ha, can you tell I like it!!:)

I would highly suggest this polish to anyone looking for the "Color of 2015" polish! I think we all need at least one right!? Also I feel like this is a polish that could be used in more than just winter and for many occasions! This will make a great fall color, and anytime you want to wear a red and a pink and you can't decide on which. Well then here you go you can use the beautiful Liz by Zoya Nail Polish!! Anyone have a different Marsala polish they love? Please share! Would love to hear what other ones are good! You know one can never have too many!!

Happy Painting!

P.S
So sorry the pictures seem so red. Maybe your computer will show the photos colors better than mine, but there is no telling. So sorry about this. Certain colors are really hard to capture, which trust me, it frustrates all nail girls out there! Well hope you are all having a lovely Sunday!
