Shark Week!

Hello, so I guess I should say Happy Shark Week! I'm not really sure if those words go together considering Sharks can be a bit scary, but then again if they aren't hurting anyone they aren't that scary SOO.... ;) Today for you I have some Shark Week nails.

I have never done nails for this before so I thought "Eh, why not try it" so I have nails and a tutorial for ya. :)

I tried to capture a shark coming out of the ocean enough for people to see. Now I have never seen this happen, so I'm not really sure if it's "realistic" but it's nails not real! ;)

For these nails I started with a white base and then did the rest with a large variety of acrylic paints.

Since it is shark week I thought I would share some of my shark teeth! In the area I live in I don't really see the Sharks when I am at the beach but we do find the teeth! I have only recently been finding teeth, everyone else in my house has been finding them since we moved here! So my collection is a bit small.

It's funny though because before living here I always thought shark teeth would be white when you find them, but nope they are black! Occasionally you can find a light tan colored one but majority are black. So if you are ever in Florida on the Atlantic side look for teeth that are black! :) Also I know as of recently some people are more hesitant about beaches due to the Sharks behavior we've all been seeing in the news I thought I would tell you about Ocearch. Ocearch is a site that shows you where tagged sharks are. No, not all sharks are on there but a lot are so every little bit helps. :) It's a neat site so if you are heading to the beach check it out.  Here is a link to check it you.. OCEARCH

Now here we have the tutorial! Be sure you go over to YouTube to read all of its info! :)

Well I hope you all liked and enjoyed this post! Remember if you ever have any questions be sure to ask them and I will get back with you ASAP! :) Also let me know what you think of this look.
Happy Shark Week,
