Hello! Happy Saturday! Hopefully you all have had a lovely week and a wonderful start to your weekend!:) Today's theme is galaxies. I am going to let you in on a little secret though! I actually don't like to do/wear galaxy nails. I LOVE seeing them on others I just am not a fan on wearing them, or doing them. When I first started doing nail art that was one thing I could pull off, and I guess now it just doesn't have the WOW effect on me. I hope that made sense! ;) So I didn't do my typical black then sponged on white, and such look!
For my galaxy nails I started with a navy base. For that I used Zoya Sailor. Then I sponged on many colors so here is a list of those!
Sinful Colors - Purple Diamond
Sinful Colors - Palm Breezy
Icing - Sugar Coated
China Glaze - Fairy Dust
The last 2 on the list I also dabbed on with the brush to intensify the glitter. The Icing polish is what I used for the full out glitter nails too. It was about 2 coats. It's pretty much just and intense Fairy dust that has a hint more pink and full coverage.
I am pretty happy with these. I feel like that are a bit different than most galaxy nails I have done. All of the stars were hand painted with acrylic paint. Then I used a small dotter for the few little random dots.
