Takko Lacquer Swatch & Review: Black Creek & McTakko

Hello there lovelies! Today is the big day! It's time for the release of some new Takkitos this evening! So exciting and ya know what else?! Today I am going to have 2 Blog Posts! I was holding off on sharing 2 polishes just because they are designed by another nail blogger you all may know but I wanted her to get her posts up first! So first up today is Black Creek designed by the wonderful McPolish. :)

Black Creek is a lovely deep grey with pink and golden shimmer in it. It's meant to be a matte polish and this is it with just two coats. No top coat or anything, and it's a really pretty color! It's unique and that just makes it all the more special.

Now as with any matte polish you have the option of adding on your choice of a shiny top coat, and with being a shiny girly myself I of course had to see what it looked like with a shiny top.

Personally I like it better with top coat because I feel like the shimmer pops more and you notice the pink and the gold more. It's a really lovely mix that I would not of expected!! Since this one showed up I have been really excited to share the pictures with you all! I tried to get some bottle shots but the sun has not been on my side these days. I have a great photo set up and lighting but the sun natural lighting in my room is always a nice addition and makes pictures look better! :) So this is the best one I got.

It's a really pretty polish and I love how you can see the colors that are in this grey!

So what do you all think? Are you matte or shiny for this one? I would have to say I am team shiny!;)

Next up I am going to show you guys the second one McPolish designed and it's names McTakko, how fun is that!

This is two coats of McTakko which is lovely pinky creamy nude with a green iridescent shimmer. The shimmer is a bit hard to capture on camera but I think you can see it pretty well where the light hits it. :) I really like this color. It's a nice neutral color that isn't too out there yet you still feel like you have something fun and special on!:)

The formula was very nice and had an easy application! I haven't done any art on it yet but I could see it being a good base for a fun floral. Maybe o will have to start a list of what to do after all the Christmas nails! I have so many ideas for Christmas nails! ;)

It's a really lovely shade!

These polishes are releasing tonight along with, Ocean Glitter, Sweetpeas, Daydreaming, and Ugly Christmas Sweater at 8PM EST here. Plus to keep up with all things Takko Lacquer check them out here....

Stay turned for big post in a few hours!
