Hello there loves! Hope y'all are having a fabulous day so far. :) I'm pretty excited about today's nails and I'm not really sure why but I just really like them! They are simple yet they turned out like I imagined so I guess that's why I'm so happy about them!
I knew I wanted to do a Palm Tree look because it just seemed very music festival like and well Coachella is going on so it seemed fitting! Yet I didn't want to just do a gradation and Palm trees like normal so I swirled it up and paired them with some stripes! Oh and I actually used a stripe vinyl from Twinkled T for the stripe and it worked! So majorly happy about that because in the past I didn't get it to work so I'm thrilled about that little fact! :) Plus I love the feeling of something turning out right!
I started with a white base which is OPI Alpine Snow and then a fast dry top coat! Then next I put on the stripe vinyls that you will see in the tutorial , yes there is a tutorial! ;) Then I put Takko Lacquer Floridazed all over and then removed the vinyl and then had a great white stripe. Then I painted in a purple stripe because this lovely turquoise has a purple sheen in it so I thought it would be fun to pull in more purple. Then the Palm trees and top coat! Which you can actually watch all of this below!! Apparently I forgot to film applying the top coat but the rest is there though so that is good!
Hope y'all found that video helpful! I don't know why but I've just been having a lot of fun with the past so many manis! I guess it's because I have been doing florals, Palm trees, and fun colors! Guess those tend to be some of my favorites!! Also I am really enjoying making videos, because I love picking out music for the Instagram versions! Haha!!
