China Glaze OMG! Flashback Collection

Hey there! Happy Fourth of July, hope you are having a fun start to your day and fun plans for the rest of it! Today I have swatches of the China Glaze OMG! Flashback collection to show you. If you are thinking the collection name sounds familiar, well you are right. This is a re-release of a collection that came out in 2008, making it its 10 year anniversary! How cool, and since ya know holo is all the rage they brought it back! So lets take a look!

China Glaze IDK

IDK
2 coat(s)

A light purple holo.

China Glaze IDK

This one is so pretty, its just a really great purple with just the right amount of holo that really pops when that sun hits!

China Glaze IDK

This whole collection has a very good and consistent formula so I am totally going to sound like a broken record just so y'all know! :)

China Glaze 2NITE

2NITE
2 coat(s)

A pale blue holo that pulls a lil periwinkle.

China Glaze 2NITE

Ok so this is a really neat polish. Its kind of got a soft navy look to it that has holo which makes it unlike anything I've used.

China Glaze 2NITE

Then also in person it almost has a hint of a periwinkle look which is really neat and not expected because you can't really see that in the pictures!

China Glaze OMG

A silver holo.

China Glaze OMG

The classic holo that everyone things about when they think holo. At least thats the way it is for me! What about you?!

China Glaze OMG

Again another lovely and easy to work with formula.

China Glaze DV8

DV8
2 coat(s)

A teal holo.

China Glaze DV8

Probably my favorite of the collection because its for sure the brightest one! It just pops and looks perfect for summer.

China Glaze DV8

One thing I will have to note about the darker shades is that when the holo isn't "holo-ing" (lets make that a word ok! LOL) you can see a few brush strokes on these bolder/darker colors. Its not bad by any means but they are there just a bit.

China Glaze BFF

2 coat(s)

A dusty magenta holo.

China Glaze BFF

This one is super pretty, at first I thought it was a purple but nope its definitely more magenta than anything and it applies like the rest! Really well and lovely on!

China Glaze BFF

This one is probably my second favorite because its a bit bold!

China Glaze TTYL

TTYL
2 coat(s)

A pale peachy holo.

China Glaze TTYL

So I'm not gonna lie, when I saw this one I was less than thrilled, I thought eh and orange holo. Well on it looks a lot more peachy which I can totally get behind.

China Glaze TTYL

It had a nice formula like the rest of these and I think makes for a fun polish! I'm thinking summery sunset vibes!

China Glaze OMG! Flashback Collection

Well that is it for today! I hope you have enjoyed this, and seeing all of the photos. I think this rerelease was pretty smart of China Glazes. These are a lil less intense than some holos, but still enough. I feel like the "mainstream" polish brands are lacking in holo so smart move! These will be available in Ulta's and Sallys in July so be on the look out now!

Happy Painting!

  1. I have been on the fence about getting these, trying to tell myself I don't need to buy more polish right now. After seeing your swatches that thinking has gone out the window.

  6. I don't remember 2Nite winning me over back when these were first released, but it is surprisingly one of my favorites with the re-release. DV8 still will always be my #1 from this collection tough!
