Nails Inc

Hello and welcome back! Hope you are having a nice week so far! Today I have decided to change things up and instead of more focusing on nails right off the bat we are going to have a fun lil chat about some things I have been LOVING recently, and then maybe some nails! :)

So this past weekend I decided that I was going to have my mom join me for a lil spa day using some things from Nails Inc that I have been wanting to try, and then of course I did our nails all while listening to music of course because I get my love of music from her! :) So a while back she tried the Nails Inc Thirsty Feet and she loved it, and said it made her feet feel so nice and hydrated. I had yet to use it so I used that one this weekend.

Nails Inc Thirsty Feet

We both basically live in Flip Flops 10 months of the year so our feet can always use some extra help and hydration is always nice. So I used the Thirsty Feet mask and first can we just talk about how cute they are! I'm loving those leaves on everything and just thought it was so cute! Plus I tried to paint one the other day and epically failed so, so much appreciation for those leaves on anything!

For this you open the package and there are 2 booties that you have to tear apart at the top and then slip your foot into. Then they have a lil sticky sticker that is attached that you can use to close the bootie. When you put your foot in it feels kinda cold and moist but not too weird! I really liked the scent as did my mom. Its very fresh and clean but not too much either which is always a nice thing. You leave the booties on for about 15-20 minutes, and I would highly advise not walking in that time period, it feels so weird and its kinda slippery.

After the 15 minutes are up you can take them off and you just feel like there is lotion on, so you rub it in and it feels so nice! My feet felt really good and they still do actually. :) I was on carpet in my own room so I wasn't worried about it getting on anything, or slipping due to lotion-y feet. That being said if you are going to be on a slippery surface right after I would suggest some slippers!
Nails Inc Thirsty Feet

I really enjoyed the whole bootie foot mask process! It was fun, and considering I like face masks it makes total sense that I would love this type of thing for my feet. Plus I love the fact there is no tub or water involved. When we have foot pampering sessions we honestly sometimes put them off because we don't want to mess with the tub. Which I realize sounds lazy but when you use really good foot scrubs they can tend to leave greasy residue in the tub after and cleaning that is not a fun job ya know! ;) So this is such a great concept!

Nails Inc Thirsty Hands

So while I did the Thirsty Feet, my mom did the Thirsty Hands and modeled for me! (Thank You!) She really liked the gloves. They were just like the booties you wear them for about 15-20 minutes and then rub it in! I painted her nails afterwards and her hands did feel super soft. I personally have yet to use it but can't wait too because my feet feel great.

These are out now on Nails Inc website but I will warn you now they are sold out and I cant see the price on there to let you know about that. So, sorry about that! I personally would totally by these for another spa day in the future! I mean its fun, and could you imagine a girls night!? You could do these, face mask, mani pedi, and watch something like How to Loose a Guy in 10 Days, or Sweet Home Alabama while snacking on homemade popcorn. I mean that sounds like a great night right?!
Nails Inc Nailkale Superfood Base Coat

So next up while we are talking about fun good for you Nails Inc Products I have to talk about the Nails Inc Nailkale Superfood Base Coat! In a few of my more recent Youtube Videos I have mentioned using this as my base coat on my "Cindy Hand" because one of my nails tends to peel on a corner and then it always chips like the day after I paint it. Not sure why but its been this way for ages now. That being said for about 3 weeks, going on 4 real soon I have been using this as my base coat because it says it is supposed to help Harden, and smooth your nails all while brightening them, and making them stronger. So far all of this rings true! I am quite impressed. Like I can go a week now and the corner doesn't chip, just normal tip wear and such that I get from using it to remove polish on my other hand. Which just has me really impressed. My mom has also been using it and she really likes it and thinks its helping her nails that always seem to break. So overall we are quite happy with the results so far and look forwards to more results as the nails grow out and we see how it works over time! :)

Floral Nail Art

So while we are at it I decided to go ahed and share a new nail art look as well because its been in my camera roll for a bit and I wasn't sure when to post it so now seems like a good time. This mani I used my new all time Favorite white which just so happens to be by Nails Inc.

Floral Nail Art

Its called White Out which is a great name for a white because well its easy to remember and when you use it as much as I do you need to remember it! :) It has a great formula and the brush just makes it SO easy to use which is honestly something I just love about Nails Inc in general. 1-2 coats and you are ready for art on this one! Here I did one coat because as you can see a lot of art was going on top.

Floral Nail Art

This is actually a recreation of a mani I did in 2016 (here) which was inspired by Chelsea Queen on Instagram. As always it was all free handed and done in acrylic paint. Brush wise I used Mitty Candy 00 brush which I have been loving lately.

Floral Nail Art

It was really fun to recreate this because its just such a make it up as you do and you can do all sorts of color combos! I stuck with staying similar to the original version but now that I think about it how fun would it be to change it up seasonally. Like mix in some fall colors, or poinsettias around Christmas!? That could be fun.

Also for some reason I took an abnormal amount of photos for this mani and there are still photos I left out because I do need to end the blog post at some point so be on the look out for different pics on other social media places! :)

Well guys thats a wrap for today! I hope you enjoyed the nails, hearing about the base coat, and my new fave way to pamper my hands and feet! If you have any questions about anything I mentioned just let me know and I will do my best to help! Also really wishing I knew the price of the booties/gloves but apparently when things are out of stock they don't list them. Hopefully they will be back in stock soon!

Happy Pampering!
