Hello and happy Monday! Today I have a new blog post and video for you featuring a new Music City Beauty polish that is releasing in the September Polish Pick up. In addition to that though as you can see from the photo above I have also included some nail art too! Plus the swatch video also shows you how to do the nail art so kind of a 2 in 1 Swatch Tutorial video!
For those who may not be familiar with Polish Pick Up here is a lil background on what it is.
The Polish Pick Up is an Online shop that is put together each month for one weekend only that consists of polishes, beauty products and more from various brands. This always falls on the first weekend of the month and so many different brands participate which is so neat because it gives you the chance to try out so many brands in a one stop shop scenario which is nice! Another neat thing about the shop is that each month is themed around a certain theme which is voted on by the fans. For more on all of this check out the PPU site here.
This September's month theme is Horror Movies and the weekend it will all be live is September 7th - 10th. Today I have the polish that Music City Beauty has put together based on the movie The Ring.
The Seventh Day
2 coat(s)
2 coat(s)
A grey blue cruelly with small gunmetal blue micro glitters and then bigger pearly white micro glitters.
The formula on this polish was perfect. It applies so nice and evenly as you can see in the swatch video. Also there is no fishing need to get a nice balance of the micro glitters.
Its a really nice crelly polish and in the below photo I really think you can see all of its different elements!
So even though I know this polish was inspired by a Horror Film for some reason I kept thinking it needed a floral on top so I had to do it! Plus I always find it so hard to put art on top of such a neat and unique polish but this just kept coming to mind so I had to do it!
For all of the art I used Acrylic paint and my Mitty Candy 00 brush which really has been my go to as of recently. The videos shows exactly how to do the mani and the its actually a pretty quick and easy to do.
Well that is it for today! I hope you have enjoyed the swatch and the art. Remember this polish is a Polish Pick Up Exclusive and will be available HERE from September 7th-10th! If you want to check out more polish from Music City Beauty polish you can here.
Happy Painting!
